Scoolinary is an online culinary school sold as a membership. One subscription opens a library of video courses taught by chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, bartenders, baristas and hospitality managers, and members study at their own pace on the web or in the app. It is a learner product, aimed at two groups the home page names side by side: professional chefs who want to "Stay ahead of trends and keep your edge", and food lovers who want to "Build real confidence at your own pace". The FAQ calls Scoolinary "the leading online culinary platform for training" and lists cooking, baking, pastry, mixology, sommelier training, barista work and nutrition as its subjects. The home page says "400.000+ professional chefs and passionate home cooks already choose Scoolinary". The site runs in English and Spanish, and the footer names the operating company as Scoolinary S.L.

What the membership includes

The home page sums up the membership as "10,000+ HD video lessons from the world's best chefs", with new courses every week and downloadable recipe books included. The catalog is organized into Cuisine, Pastry, Bakery, Viennoiserie, Cocktails, Coffee, Wine and Management, and the site also groups courses into collections such as new cooking techniques, advanced pastry techniques, healthy dishes, bread at home, Spanish cuisine and Peruvian cuisine.

The featured course list shows the range. On the bread and pastry side there are Croissants and Viennoiserie and Petit Gâteaux: Second Collection with Antonio Bachour, Baked Cheesecakes with Elena Adell, French Pastry Techniques with Philippe Salomon, Macarons with Damien Wager, Eclairs with Fran Segura, Breadmaking Essentials with Lutz Geißler and Creative Breads Using Sourdough with Hans Ovando. Savory courses include French Cooking Techniques with Bruno Stril, Basic Spherification Techniques, Basic Stocks and Broths, The Fundamentals of Pizza with Luigi di Domenico and Healthy Mediterranean Cuisine with Carme Ruscalleda. Drinks run from Latte Art with Raul Pérez and Cocktail Basics: 25 Classic Cocktails to Introduction to Sake, The World of Tea and Introduction to Wine Tasting. There is even a Food Photography with Smartphone course.

The Management track is what sets the catalog apart from a recipe channel. It includes Business Planning for Bars and Restaurants, Leading and Motivating Hospitality Teams, Profit And Loss Analysis and Restaurant Team Management, which makes the membership relevant to restaurant managers as well as cooks. The footer lists the audiences directly: professional chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, culinary students, restaurant managers and home cooks.

Upcoming releases are announced by month, including Pastry with Indian Flavours with Vinesh Johny, Croissants and Brioche with Hans Ovando, Coffee from Farm to Cup with Raul Pérez, Roscones with Dani Álvarez, Italian Pizza & Teglia with Liliana D'Urso and Molecular Sommellerie with François Chartier.

The instructors

The instructor wall carries each chef's credentials as Scoolinary labels them. Antonio Bachour is billed as "World´s Best Pastry Chef - 2018 and 2022", Carme Ruscalleda with "7 Michelin Stars", Shaun Hergatt with "4 Michelin Stars", Kyle Connaughton, Jordi Roca and Quique Dacosta with 3 each, and Joanna Artieda as "World´s Best Pastry Chef 2024". Others include Irini Tzortzoglou, listed as "MasterChef UK Champion 2019", the chocolatier Kriss Harvey, Najat Kaanache, Shenarri Freeman and Toshi Matsufuji. The FAQ describes the teachers as "renowned instructors, experts in each subject".

How learning works

According to the FAQ, the courses are "100% online, starting and ending whenever you want". You set the pace, go back to review what interests you, rewatch videos, ask questions in the Community and share your projects. The community is a member area with clubs, connections and messaging. Scoolinary also offers an "AI-powered personal tutor", listed in the resources menu as Scooly AI, and a mobile app it promotes with "Learn anytime, anywhere". Other resources include a podcast, gift cards and an affiliate program. A "Get Started for Free" button lets you open a free account, which the sign-up notice says manages "your access to free content".

Certificates and approval

Certificates depend on the plan. The FAQ says members on a Premium or Teams plan receive a certificate for every course they complete, which they can download at the end of the course. It adds that "Our courses have been approved by two highly prestigious culinary authorities", Worldchefs and the American Culinary Federation (ACF), and that "This accreditation guarantees the quality and excellence of our programs". A comparison table on the home page describes them as "Certificates signed by Michelin-star chefs". These are Scoolinary's own course certificates with the approvals the site names.

Plans, renewal and refunds

Scoolinary sells an Annual Membership and a Quarterly Membership. The Annual plan renews automatically 12 months after purchase and the Quarterly plan 3 months after, each "at the list price corresponding to the chosen membership plan". To stop a renewal, you cancel from your user profile 24 hours before the renewal date, and the FAQ is direct about refunds: "We do not issue refunds for charges applied due to automatic renewal." Access ends with the membership; you need an active membership to keep watching. The public pages print no membership prices.

Scoolinary for Teams

The Teams Plan covers up to 5 individual users under a single annual subscription. Each member gets their own profile and access, an independent learning history, individual certificates on completion and personalized favorites. The account administrator gets a dashboard to add and remove members, track the whole team's progress and download a unified progress report. The pitch is to "Train your team with top chefs from around the world", which suits a small kitchen or pastry shop more than a large hotel group.

What members say

The home page reports that "95,6%" of members "say Scoolinary has transformed the way they cook", with a footnote that the figure is "based on surveys conducted among subscribers". Lina M., a baker in New York, writes: "I needed a certification. Thanks to Scoolinary, I got certified in bakery, and that opened doors for me." Ramon Mendez in Spain says he "used a technique I learned at work" the day after a plating course, and that the dish is now on his restaurant's menu. Kundeti Kumar in India has "been a cook for over 30 years" and says the courses inspired him "to explore new culinary styles".

Who it suits

Scoolinary suits a working chef, pastry chef or baker who wants to learn specific techniques from recognized names, and a home cook who wants structured video lessons rather than scattered recipes. Restaurant managers get a business track, and culinary students get a large reference library. A small team of up to 5 can share one annual Teams plan with progress reports.

The model rewards steady use. Courses stay available only while you pay, renewals are automatic and not refunded, and a certificate needs a Premium or Teams plan, so a learner after a single course would do better to plan a focused quarter and cancel in time.
