Domestika grew from a Madrid-based design community into one of the largest creative-course marketplaces outside the US, raising $110 million in a 2022 round that valued the company at $1.3 billion. Its catalog now runs into the thousands of courses across illustration, graphic design, photography, crafts, and animation, taught by working artists rather than generalist instructors.
Courses can be bought individually, often discounted heavily during frequent sales, or accessed through the Domestika Plus subscription, which opens the full library for a flat annual fee. It fits a learner focused specifically on visual and craft skills who wants instructors who actually work in the field, illustrators, letterers, photographers, rather than a broad, generalist marketplace like Skillshare or Udemy.
