Edulive is a Vietnamese-language digital education platform ("Nền tảng giáo dục số") for building interactive lessons and teaching them online. It combines a lesson authoring tool, a large template library, gamified quiz formats and an interactive online classroom with automatic grading and class management. The home page addresses three groups: K12 teachers, for whom it promises an easy way to spark pupils' interest; education centers, for which it pitches a competitive edge; and companies running internal training. The operator is Công ty Cổ phần Edulive Toàn Cầu (Edulive Global Joint Stock Company), and the privacy policy says Edulive is based in Vietnam and maintains global infrastructure.

The home page says 50+ schools, businesses and education centers and 10 000 teachers have chosen Edulive. Most of the teacher voices on the site come from primary schools, and many of the ready-made lessons are aimed at preschool and primary classes.

Building lessons from templates

The headline promise is "Game hóa bài giảng siêu đơn giản", super simple lesson gamification. Teachers start from a library of 1,000+ lesson templates that the site says were researched from 5,000+ hours of teaching by working teachers, and edit them quickly rather than designing from a blank slide. The home page says that with a few clicks a teacher can create a lively interactive lesson, easily and completely free, from the thousands of templates in the lesson library. Sample lessons on the page include a preschool lesson and one on exploring the tropical rainforest.

Game formats are built into the authoring tool. The site shows how to create five of them for an interactive lesson: 'Đào vàng' (gold mining), 'Đập chuột' (whack-a-mole), 'Giải ô chữ' (crossword), 'Ai là triệu phú' (a millionaire-style quiz) and 'Sắp xếp chữ cái' (letter sorting). The point, as the home page puts it, is learning while playing: gamified content to stimulate interest, an automatic management system for accuracy and saved time, and better uptake of knowledge.

Teachers describe the tool in practical terms. Trần Thị Quỳnh Hường, a primary teacher in Kim Sơn, Ninh Bình, writes that primary teachers used to struggle with PowerPoint and Violet to build electronic lessons, and that Edulive is a website combining PowerPoint-style tools and other software for creating lessons, grading and commenting on students' work. She adds that it works on phones, tablets and computers. Another teacher on the page, who says they have tried many lesson-authoring and online teaching programs, calls Edulive fairly comprehensive and praises how much the library invests in images and content: lessons are easy to edit and use straight away, and the payoff is far greater than the effort of preparing them. Pupils, the teacher writes, are especially keen on the interactive brain games.

Worksheets, grading and class management

Beyond lessons, the platform bundles the classroom tools a teacher needs around them:

  • Interactive classroom. Students can speak up, the teacher keeps control, assessment is automatic, and reward points make lessons more appealing.
  • Automatic worksheets. Traditional paper worksheets can be digitized into interactive exercises.
  • Class management. Teachers assign homework, grade it, and get summaries and reports.

Several teachers single out the automatic grading. Nguyễn Thu Thảo, a primary teacher in Ninh Bình, says features such as automatic grading and managing a whole class while it works on exercises make online teaching in some ways more convenient than teaching in person. Dương Thanh Nga, a primary teacher in Hà Nội, writes that her pupils used to lose focus and stop interacting in online classes, and that after she switched to Edulive's interactive content they competed to be picked to take part, while automatic grading and tracking made managing the class much easier.

Teaching live online

Lessons can be taught directly to a class in Edulive's interactive online classroom ("Phòng học trực tuyến tương tác"). Students join with a class code, and the join screen shows the start time, status, the students in the class and the teacher. The privacy policy describes what a live session can involve: screen sharing, keyboard and mouse control, webcam and audio, text chat, polls and handouts. That live classroom is why Edulive also sits in our live and cohort teaching category.

Lessons can also be shared with students and learning communities through Facebook, Messenger and Zalo or by copying a link, and Edulive has an app as well as the browser version.

Libraries, blog and community

Alongside the lesson library, Edulive runs a course library that the home page describes as thousands of attractive courses, completely free. Its blog has sections for teachers, with shared materials, guides and teaching experience, and for students, with knowledge summaries and revision tests. A recent post covers a digital teaching resources contest that the education office of Kim Bôi district organized with Edulive, and others give practical tips such as building multiple-choice questions in PowerPoint.

Support and data

Help comes through a support center with guides, and teachers mention technical staff who help at any hour. Đào Thị Luyến of Văn Đức primary school in Gia Lâm, Hà Nội, writes that the team was "luôn sẵn sàng hỗ trợ chúng mình bất kể thời gian nào" (always ready to help us at any time) and that the lesson library suits young pupils, especially first graders. On data, the privacy policy says Edulive keeps user-provided data while the app is in use and for a reasonable time after, keeps automatically collected information for up to one year, and deletes user data on request.

Pricing

The home page invites teachers to try Edulive completely free and offers free lesson authoring ("Soạn giảng miễn phí"). The privacy policy refers to payment details and orders, but the home page shows no price list.

Who it suits

Edulive fits Vietnamese-speaking preschool and primary teachers who teach online or in blended classes and want lively, game-based lessons without design skills. The template library, the five game formats, automatic worksheets and grading, and the class-code online room cover the whole cycle from preparing a lesson to marking it. Education centers can use the same tools to stand out with interactive classes, and the home page also offers the platform for companies' internal training.

The interface, templates and guides are in Vietnamese, so the platform is built for Vietnamese classrooms first. Teachers who need detailed instructional design control or export to another learning system are not the audience; Edulive is strongest as a fast way to turn an idea into a playful lesson and teach it the same day.
