Clixie AI is an interactive video platform that turns existing videos into interactive training. Its home page sums it up as "an AI interactive video platform that automatically generates quizzes, branching paths, chapters, subtitles, and SCORM-ready training modules from uploaded videos," used "for compliance training, onboarding, certifications, sales enablement, and LMS-based learning." The company describes itself as founded in 2021 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and lists an Ann Arbor street address along with Monterrey, Mexico, and São Paulo, Brazil. It sells to corporate training, sales training, K-12 and higher education, and continuing education teams, and also to marketers who want videos that capture leads.

For a course author, the appeal is that the starting point is a video the team already has. Clixie's AI reads the transcript and proposes the interactivity; the author reviews, adjusts and publishes, either as a SCORM package for an LMS or as a hosted interactive video.

How a video becomes a lesson

The home page describes the workflow in three steps: create an account and upload a training, onboarding or sales video; let the AI add branching decisions, quizzes, hotspots and CTAs; then export to SCORM or publish instantly. In more detail, the AI analyzes the transcript, detects learning moments, and suggests quiz questions aligned to specific timestamps. Authors can then add branching logic so learners are routed differently based on their answers, role, confidence level or assessment score.

Quizzes sit inside the video player rather than in a separate assessment tool. The home page gives four patterns this makes possible: compliance training where incorrect answers trigger remediation clips before learners continue, onboarding where different departments follow different paths from a single master module, sales enablement with scenario-based branching on objection handling and customer conversations, and certification programs where learners must reach a passing score before moving to the next module.

The automatically generated layer, as Clixie lists it, covers in-video quizzes, branching learning paths, AI chapters and summaries, SCORM and xAPI tracking, interactive overlays and calls to action, and multilingual subtitles. The company's own description adds that it offers 28 interactive element types, and the home page mentions bookmarks and adaptive learning among the interactivity the platform can suggest. It works on audio content as well as video.

On timing, the FAQ answers its own question about adding interactivity to an existing video with "15 Minutes" for the AI to generate chapters, quizzes and transcriptions after upload. Customizing branching, hotspots or forms adds 1 to 2 hours of the author's work, and the FAQ puts the total at typically 2 to 4 hours of effort and 24 hours of AI processing. Updates are made in the no-code authoring tool and republished.

Sources: meetings, text-to-video and production services

Video can come from several places. The FAQ says cloud recordings can be imported directly from Zoom, Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams, after which Clixie transcribes the meeting and generates searchable chapters, and quizzes, polls or clickable resources can be embedded. Its example is turning a passive 45-minute meeting into a trackable knowledge base. The home page also shows an integration with the text-to-video tools Synthesia and HeyGen, with a sample onboarding course localized in English, Portuguese and Spanish using Synthesia.

Teams without videos can hand the work to Clixie. The Turnkey Production service handles concept, scripting, an in-house shoot, editing and interactivity, with a typical timeline of 6 to 8 weeks, and deploys the result to an LMS, a website or email. A separate AI Video Creation and Localization service turns PDFs, slides or videos into localized interactive videos with AI voiceovers and subtitles, and the footer names the full-service production arm Clixie Studios.

Languages and localization

The FAQ says Clixie translates into 120+ languages. Its AI transcribes and translates uploaded videos, and the author chooses subtitles burned into the video or a player-level subtitle toggle where each viewer picks a language. Professional human translation is available for high-stakes compliance or legal content. Clixie's own claim is that most localized videos see 2 to 3x more engagement. In the sample course on the home page, viewers switch language from a selector in the playbar.

SCORM, xAPI, LTI and the LMS

Standards support is broad. The FAQ says Clixie supports 20+ LMS platforms natively and names Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, Brightspace, Docebo and iSpring, using SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, LTI, xAPI and custom APIs; if the LMS supports any of these, integration "takes 10 minutes," and the integration team takes calls for anyone unsure. Learner progress, quiz scores, time spent, completion status and branching choices are tracked in SCORM 1.2 and xAPI format, and the FAQ says the LMS can then produce audit-ready reports, describing the data export as "legally defensible for compliance reviews and regulatory audits." For onboarding, the FAQ also mentions competency tracking and automated LMS or HRIS reporting.

The same interactive video can be published to an LMS, a website, email or through the API, with chapters, quizzes, CTAs and analytics intact and no re-encoding. A Clixie AI MCP Server powers no-code connections to other apps.

Analytics

Clixie's FAQ contrasts its analytics with standard video reporting, which "only tells you who clicked play and when they dropped off." Clixie says it delivers ML-forecasted completion rates, engagement heatmaps, viewer persona mapping and AI-flagged skill gaps, so an instructor can see which concepts confused a learner rather than only that the learner failed. A "Data-at-a-Glance" dashboard gives micro and macro-level engagement data.

Sales and marketing uses

The same tools serve marketing. In-video contact forms, shoppable hotspots and clickable CTAs capture leads, and AI-powered MQL scoring rates each viewer by how they interacted. Leads and behavioral data sync to Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo or 5,000+ other apps via Zapier, and in HubSpot, video choices and completion events can trigger workflows and update contact records.

Results Clixie reports

The home page says Clixie's platform analytics show that AI interactive video boosts learner retention by 50%. Its ROI answer lists a 60 to 85% completion rate improvement, 40% higher engagement and 25% higher lead conversion, which customers report within 3 to 6 months, plus 15% higher win rates for sales teams. These are Clixie's own figures. Among the customer reviews, Michael Coci, CEO of Ladir, says his team has been "constantly impressed by their regular drumbeat of product releases, adoption of new technologies, and customer collaboration."

Who it suits and who it does not

Clixie suits corporate L&D, compliance and sales enablement teams with a library of training videos or recorded meetings that need to become trackable, interactive modules inside an LMS, especially multilingual teams that want subtitles and localization handled in the same tool. Schools and continuing education providers are named audiences too, and the Turnkey Production service covers teams with no video yet. It is less of a fit for authors who build slide-based or text-heavy courses from scratch, since everything in Clixie starts from a video or audio file.
