Gumroad

Tap a star to rate

Gumroad strips the model down to one number: no plans to compare, no tiers to upgrade through, just 10% of whatever you sell through your own link or storefront, plus standard card processing on top. That simplicity makes it an easy first stop for someone testing whether a digital product sells at all before committing to a platform with a monthly bill.

The tradeoff for the flat rate is a thinner feature set than Podia or Kajabi, a straightforward storefront and checkout, without deep email automation, funnels, or membership community tools. Its Discover marketplace can bring in sales from people who weren't already following you, at the cost of a much higher 30% fee on those specific transactions. It fits someone selling a single digital product or two, more than a creator building a full course business with drip content and student progress tracking.
