UniD Formazione

Tap a star to rate

UniD Formazione is an Italian-language education company whose main business is preparing students for university admission tests. Its home page leads with "Corsi e libri per superare i Test di ammissione all'università" (courses and books to pass university admission tests), and it sells that preparation as classroom courses in 45 cities, live eLearning, self-paced online courses and printed books. Around that core it runs courses for the high school leaving exam and university exams, language courses with certifications, school guidance services and a large online catalog of professional training. The company behind it is UNID S.r.l., with its registered address in Gualdicciolo (RSM).

The site says UniD has run over 2,000 courses and teaches through more than 300 instructors drawn from university professors, researchers and professionals chosen for their teaching and relational skills.

University admission test preparation

The admission test courses come in three modes: in the classroom, online, and live by eLearning. Classroom courses, in 45 cities and also in live streaming, cover a targeted review of the syllabus, the most effective solving strategies and constant simulations of the test. Enrollment is open for winter and summer courses, and the home page currently promotes preparation for the 2026 university tests, the filter semester (semestre filtro) and the health professions (Professioni Sanitarie). Two-year courses (corsi Biennali) are pitched to students who start early, with savings of up to €2,000.

Each course comes with books and online services supplied at enrollment, meant for the individual study that prepares students for the classroom lessons. The online courses offer on-demand theory lessons and digital resources, online simulations and tutors who are always available, with study possible "24 ore su 24" (around the clock).

The books are sold separately as well: theory manuals, exercise books, practice tests and quiz collections for the admission test of each faculty, with free courier shipping.

The Genius platform

UniD's online courses run on its own platform, Genius, which the home page describes as "Intelligenza artificiale applicata all'eLearning" (artificial intelligence applied to eLearning). The same banner carries the promise "Soddisfatto o rimborsato" (satisfied or reimbursed) and an invitation to try it. The site does not spell out the refund terms behind that promise.

School exams, university exams and guidance

Beyond admission tests, UniD prepares students for the Esame di maturità, the high school leaving exam, with courses for catching up on school subjects and programs aimed at obtaining the diploma. For students already enrolled at university, it runs classroom courses in 45 cities and eLearning courses for passing individual university exams on the way to a degree.

For high schools, UniD offers an orientation service designed for them that bundles classroom courses, online courses, simulations of university tests, personalized seminars and aptitude tests.

Language courses and certifications

Language courses are offered one-to-one and by eLearning, calibrated to what each student needs: for work, for personal interest, or for a certification. The catalog shows English and Spanish certifications, several of them packaged for Italian teachers:

  • CLIL course plus English C2 certification, €750, listed as valid for 9 points; the C1 version (€720) for 7 points and the B2 version (€699) for 6 points
  • British Institutes English certifications at C2 (€409, 6 points), C1 (€379, 4 points) and B2 (€409, 3 points)
  • Spanish CELU certification, recognized internationally, from €350 on its own or €499 with an online course
  • a CLIL university improvement course worth 60 CFU, recognized by MIUR and valid for up to 3 points

The point values are aimed at teachers: elsewhere the catalog ties such points to the GPS teacher rankings and the ATA school staff rankings.

Professional training and digital certifications

The professional training catalog is online and broad: IT and ICDL and EIPASS certifications, Office and Adobe, cybercrime prevention, SEO and digital marketing, advertising, artificial intelligence, web programming, graphics and design, communication, business, tourism and hospitality, privacy and GDPR, luxury and fashion, fitness training, and courses for teachers and ATA school staff. The site says every course ends with a certificate of completion that can be added to a CV.

Most courses carry an hour count and a S.O.F.I.A. ID and are listed as accredited and recognized by MIM. Examples, at the discounted prices the catalog shows:

  • Digital Marketing Manager, 700 hours, €1,990
  • Digital Marketing Specialist, 500 hours, €1,819
  • AI Manager, 500 hours, €570, and AI Specialist, 400 hours, €480
  • SEO Manager, 300 hours, €659, and SEO Specialist, 100 hours, €254
  • Graphic and Web Designer, 500 hours, €749
  • DPO Data Protection Officer, 100 hours, €274
  • Coding, LIM and Tablet online courses, 200 hours each, €47

The digital literacy certifications for teachers and ATA staff (AICA, EDSC, IDCERT and EIPASS DigCompEdu, and DigComp) are listed as recognized by MIM and Accredia and worth 1 to 3 points in the GPS teacher rankings, with the AICA and IDCERT DigComp certifications described as a required title for ATA staff. ICDL courses (Base, Essentials, Full Standard, IT Security) are sold with or without a Skills Card.

Almost every listing shows a list price and a discounted price with a deadline of 01/10, so the prices above are promotional prices.

Payment, quality claims and recognition

Courses can be paid in up to 36 installments through PayPal, Alma or HeyLight, or in one payment by credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. Customer service runs by phone and email.

UNID S.r.l. holds UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 quality certification from Lloyd's Register for the design and delivery of online training courses, a certification the site says is recognized in 160 countries. The home page also says UniD Srl was judged "il miglior Centro di formazione in Italia" (the top training center in Italy) in the survey Migliori in Italia, Campioni del Servizio, which it describes as the widest study in the country of the service companies offer consumers, conducted on over 358,000 consumers by the German Institute for Quality and Finance (ITQF) and presented with La Repubblica Affari&Finanza. The site says its students reach their desired result in particularly high percentages and that end-of-course evaluations are used to improve its services.

Who it suits

UniD Formazione suits Italian-speaking students preparing for a university admission test who want a structured course with simulations, either in a classroom in one of its 45 cities or online, and families who want books and a course from the same provider. The two-year courses and the maturità and university exam courses make it a provider a student can stay with across several stages.

Its language certifications and digital literacy courses speak most directly to teachers and school staff collecting points for the Italian rankings, and its online professional courses give working adults a wide choice of accredited, certificate-bearing programs at frequently discounted prices. All teaching and material is in Italian, so the platform is for learners comfortable studying in that language.
