Tap a star to rate

iQuanta is an Indian online coaching platform for management entrance exams, above all the CAT, the test that decides admission to the IIMs and other Indian business schools. It is for learners, mostly college students and working professionals, who want a full course rather than a book. The About page dates its start to 2016, when founder and CEO Indrajeet Singh, then a CAT aspirant himself, began answering other aspirants' questions online; the company behind it, Indrajeet's iQuanta Edu Services Private Limited, now lists a 100+ member team and an office in Gurugram, Haryana. Besides the CAT, the About page says it covers "XAT, NMAT, SNAP, GMAT, IPMAT and many more," and the course menu adds CUET and CLAT; it also says it acquired ATP Star Kota to move into JEE and NEET preparation.

How the CAT course works

iQuanta calls its method "dual pedagogy." Every live concept class is followed by an application class in which students solve CAT-level questions on the same topic, so syllabus coverage and practice happen inside the course rather than as homework. The home page puts it bluntly: traditional live classes "are only 20% of what is offered." Topic-wise assignments land on the student's dashboard after each class, and daily practice sessions of 15 to 30 minutes mix new and earlier topics, with the chance to compete against peers in real time.

Around the classes sit modules for each section. Three basic modules target weak foundations: Non-Engineer's QA, a refresher of school mathematics from class 6 to 10 that the page lists at 70+ videos, 35+ hours and 300+ questions; VARC Essentials, built around 500 commonly occurring terms and themes, each with a video explainer, articles and reading comprehension passages; and LRDI Essentials, which teaches how to approach logic and data sets from zero. Three advanced modules follow: Engineer's VARC, a set of 100 CAT-level passages with explanations; LRDI Inception, 100 CAT-level sets; and CutShort, quant shortcut techniques taught in live sessions. The home page says the basic modules open as soon as a student enrolls.

Testing runs through iCAT, the platform's mock series. The home page lists 35 full-length mocks (20 proctored, 15 unproctored) and 45 sectionals, every one with video solutions, plus 10 mocks for other management exams. After each mock, an AI-based analysis reports accuracy, time per question and topic-wise strengths, an error tracker logs every wrong answer, and a strategy builder generates follow-up practice similar to the questions missed. A score-versus-percentile predictor estimates a percentile and the business schools a student might convert.

Higher tiers add the IIM ABC question bank, which the page says opens with 2500 questions on enrollment and then adds daily sets of 3 reading passages, 3 logic sets and 12 quant questions, and a series of 12 printed CAT books (5 QA, 4 LRDI, 3 VARC) that the company says it refreshes every year. A crash course near the exam re-teaches the syllabus with 8 to 10 hour marathon sessions and themed question sets (QA 250, LRDI 70, RC 60). The site also mentions night classes for working professionals and recorded foundation and advanced sessions for revision.

Doubt solving and community

Round-the-clock doubt solving is the feature iQuanta leans on hardest. Students post a question as text or a photo, from iQuanta material or any other book, and the home page says faculty answer "in less than 15 minutes, 24*7"; a course table elsewhere on the same page gives an average under 8 minutes. One student-voice passage on the home page describes the appeal: "I can drop my doubts anytime whenever they arise, even anonymously."

The community extends beyond paid students. The site points to a Facebook group of "4 lakh+ members" and a WhatsApp group of 200K members, and the About page counts 250,000+ active members, 5000+ doubts solved monthly and 500+ daily discussions. It sums up the idea as "It is not just a coaching platform. It's a space where students also support each other."

Pricing and courses

The home page FAQ gives the headline price: "At iQuanta the full course costs only Rs 39,999," listing 3 basic modules, 3 advanced modules, 250+ live and application classes, 200 topic-wise assignments, a free crash course, 35 mocks and 45 sectionals, 24x7 doubt solving and classes 6 days a week. The CAT Full Course Pro is the flagship, adding the IIM ABC material and the CAT books for students aiming at the 99.9 to 100 percentile range, and the page says a student can upgrade from the Full Course to Pro later. Other packages cover MBA mocks, self-paced courses, study material, GMAT, IPMAT, CUET and CLAT. A free one-on-one counseling call can be booked from the home page.

The XAT course page lists what its paid course includes: 100+ hours of live classes, 20+ practice sessions, 7 full mocks, 24*7 doubt solving, XAT-specific data interpretation and verbal sessions, and 100+ decision-making sets with video solutions.

Free material and the app

A good share of iQuanta is free. The free CAT study material page lists past CAT papers from 2000 to 2025 with solutions, a VARC cheat sheet, YouTube playlists by named faculty, free live classes and an IIM predictor. The IPMAT page runs a daily quiz challenge of 15 questions in 25 minutes, past papers for IPM Indore, IPM Rohtak and JIPMAT, and a formula book in PDF. For XAT there are past papers, a question bank and a doubt-solving group. The FAQ itself says students "can also crack CAT without a course" using the free section.

The iQuanta app, for iOS and Android, is described on its own page as "completely free to use for the aspirants" preparing for CAT, OMETs, IPMAT, JEE and other exams. It carries live classes, assignments, mocks, past papers, notes, timed quizzes, a speed-reading trainer, a community feed, a leaderboard, a goal tracker and AI mock analysis. The app page shows ratings of 4.4 stars from 591 reviews with 50K+ downloads and 4.6 stars from 62 reviews with 15K+ downloads.

Track record claims

The About page reports 1800+ CAT 99 percentilers over nine years, 3000+ 97 percentilers and 580+ 99 percentilers in CAT 2025, and 50,000 IIM calls, and calls iQuanta "India's No.1 CAT Online Coaching." These are the company's own figures. Customer support is listed in English and Hindi, by phone and email, and the site also links to offline centers.

Who it suits

iQuanta fits a CAT candidate who wants a complete, structured program with heavy practice built in, and especially a working professional who studies at night and needs a question answered late at night. The basic modules make it a reasonable start for non-engineers who have lost touch with math. Students aiming for the top percentiles get the deepest material in the Pro tier. The trade-off is volume: the course is large and practice-driven, and someone looking for a light self-study tool may find the free app and free material enough on their own. The catalog is built around Indian entrance exams; GMAT is the one international test on the course menu.
