What Sudor is
Sudor builds white-label mobile apps for creators who run a membership, coaching or course business. Each creator gets their own branded app, which the home page says is "listed on the App Store and Google Play", and runs it from one dashboard covering members, content, payments, email and subscriptions. What sets the offer apart is the service wrapped around the software. The site's line is "More than software, you gain a team that supports you and your members every step of the way."
The company presents itself through its founder, Emma, who the site says built Sudor "to help creators scale beyond the limits of time, location, and geography." Its pitch to creators is that scaling a membership business "doesn't have to mean working more hours."
What goes into the app
The home page lists the building blocks of a Sudor app:
- Video hosting with journeys. Full video hosting, organized into "structured journeys that guide members from one step to the next." This is how a course or program is laid out: members move through content in order rather than browsing a loose library.
- A resource library. Creators can "Publish and organise courses, guides, recipes, downloads, and other resources inside your app."
- Smart tags. Content is tagged across the whole library, and the tags are fully customizable, so members can find a lesson, a recipe or a download quickly.
- Two-way live sessions. Live sessions are built into the app itself, so classes, workshops and coaching calls happen in the same place as the recorded content.
- Community chat and push notifications. Both are built in, and the site stresses that there is "No algorithm deciding what your members see." Push notifications are the tool Sudor returns to again and again for keeping members engaged between sessions.
- Analytics and AI insights. The dashboard includes built-in analytics and what the site calls AI insights to help a creator grow their membership business.
- Challenges. The platform combines "content, community, challenges, live sessions, and resources in one branded app."
All of it is managed from a single dashboard, which the home page pitches as a way to replace a stack of separate tools: "Manage your content, members, payments, programmes, and communications from one place instead of juggling multiple tools and logins."
Selling memberships
Sudor is built around recurring membership revenue. Payments and subscriptions are managed from the same dashboard as content and members, and members pay inside the creator's branded app. The site offers an ROI calculator, built on the argument that "A small number of paying members can cover the cost of your app," so a creator can estimate how quickly their membership business would pay back the cost of the app. The home page links to a separate pricing page but prints no prices itself, and the main calls to action are to request a demo or more information.
The team behind the app
The service side is the core of the product. According to the site, Sudor combines software with hands-on support that covers onboarding, technical maintenance, app updates, customer support and ongoing guidance as the business grows. The launch follows "A simple, guided process designed to get your app live with confidence," from idea to launch.
Unusually for an app builder, Sudor also supports the creator's members. The site says it "handles member support for you, helping with billing questions, login issues, and technical enquiries so you can focus on your content and community." For a solo coach, that removes the job of answering password resets and failed payments.
The home page tells the story of Riya, a creator who sent the founder a voice note while "juggling a corporate career, a newborn, and a growing community." Having a team behind her, the site says, meant she did not have to do it all alone, and she has since left corporate life to run her business full-time.
Migration
For creators already running a membership elsewhere, Sudor offers a guided move. The home page promises to "guide you through the process from start to finish, making the move simple and stress-free," and the migration page adds that the team moves "your content, members, and subscriptions into your new app, with minimal disruption for you or your community." A creator with an existing paying base can therefore switch without asking members to sign up again from scratch.
Design before you commit
A free App Designer lets a creator try the look of their app before talking to sales. The site describes it this way: "Upload your brand and watch your splash screen, content library and community take shape in real time." It is a quick way to check that a branded app fits a brand before booking a demo.
Who Sudor is built for
The home page names six groups and the app setup that suits each one:
- Fitness and movement coaches: personal trainers, yoga teachers, pilates instructors and movement coaches get programs, challenges, workout libraries, live sessions, community chat and memberships.
- Business and mindset coaches: business, mindset, leadership and career coaches get courses, coaching programs, live sessions, memberships, community chat and resources.
- Nutrition and wellness practitioners: nutritionists, dietitians, wellness coaches and health practitioners get programs, meal plans, educational content, live sessions, community chat and memberships.
- Educators and course creators: educators, instructors and course creators get courses, lesson libraries, live classes, memberships, community chat and learning resources.
- Faith and spiritual communities: churches, ministries, spiritual leaders and faith-based communities get teachings, courses, live sessions, community chat, events and memberships.
- Creators and entertainers: influencers, entertainers and personalities get exclusive content, memberships, live streams, community chat and subscriber experiences.
In each case push notifications are the thread that keeps members, clients or learners coming back between sessions.
Learning resources and extras
Beyond the app, Sudor publishes material for creators growing a membership business: the Just Own It Playbook, a blog, webinars, events and a weekly digest of insights, trends and strategies. It also offers 1:1 business coaching, a refer-and-earn program and live chat on the site. The site calls the company a partner for creators "who are ready to grow without doing it all alone."
Who it suits
Sudor fits a coach, trainer, educator or community leader who already has an audience, wants a membership app in the app stores under their own name, and would rather hand the technical and support work to a team than learn an app builder. Course creators can deliver their lessons as journeys and libraries inside the app, alongside live classes and community chat. The member support service is the strongest reason to choose it over a do-it-yourself builder, especially for a one-person business. The guided migration makes it a practical option for creators moving an existing paying membership.
It suits less well a creator who wants a self-serve tool with a published price to sign up for today, since the home page leads to demos and a pricing page rather than a checkout. A creator who mainly sells one-off courses on the web, with no need for a phone app or recurring membership, is also outside the audience the site describes.
