uCertify is an online course and lab platform for IT certification and computer science learning. It sells courses, labs and test prep for industry certifications from vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, CompTIA, CIW, PMI, ISC2, Adobe and Axelos, and it partners with schools, colleges, training centers, businesses, publishers and government buyers who run those courses for their own learners. That gives it two audiences: an individual preparing for an exam or a career move into IT, and an institution, often a K-12 school teaching career and technical education, that wants a ready-made digital curriculum with labs and assessments. The site's copyright line runs from 2002.
The catalog and how a course is built
The homepage covers artificial intelligence, computer science, information technology, project management, information systems, cybersecurity and data analytics, and it describes "an extensive collection of over 1,000 online courses and certifications." Courses appear as titles with an ISBN, which reflects their textbook-style origins, and each card shows what is included: lessons, a lab, test prep and, on many newer titles, the AI Tutor. Examples on the homepage include Azure AI Engineering, an IAPP Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional study guide, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Ethics in Computing and Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare Information Systems. A separate AI track prepares learners for certifications such as the CertNexus Certified Artificial Intelligence Practitioner (CAIP) and AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty.
Interactive lessons carry "50+ interactive features like case studies, bookmarks, flashcards, labs, labeling & matching, and more." Gamified test prep comes "with auto-grading, multiple learning modes, instant feedback, and access to 50+ engaging items." Testimonials on the homepage describe how this plays out for exam candidates: one reviewer of the CBAP-CCBA course singles out "a pre-assessment very helpful to know where you stand", another praises the study planner in the PMI-ACP course, and others mention CISSP, ITIL Foundation, PMI-RMP, Python and CompTIA A+ courses.
Beyond self-study, uCertify Academy offers "all-new instructor-led trainings to get real-time support, personalized feedback, and stay motivated with structured guidance," with a class schedule on the site. The catalog menu also lists skills and career tracks, uCertify's own certifications, libraries and exam vouchers, so a learner can buy the voucher alongside the prep.
The labs
Labs are where uCertify spends most of its pages. LiveLAB replaces "expensive physical labs with virtual machines for hands-on IT skill development in an auto-graded environment with real-world software access and single sign-on." CloudLAB lets learners experiment with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform on virtual machines. CyberRange is a controlled environment for identifying vulnerabilities, planning incident response and mitigating attacks. CodingLAB covers "49+ programming languages in a risk-free integrated development environment (IDE) with built-in validation." HardwareSIM walks through setting up a PC, vocational training and appliance repair; SoftwareSIM simulates in-demand applications; Scenario Simulation builds computer-generated environments to move through; MathsLAB offers an equation editor, graphs and automated item generation; and SmartChat puts the learner in a 3D scene with questions that pop up as the conversation unfolds. The menu adds Roleplay Labs and EHR Labs. The homepage notes the labs are "integrated easily with LMS".
AI Tutor and the mobile app
The AI Tutor is pitched as "instant, one-on-one support" where a learner can "Ask complex questions, review concepts, and receive personalized feedback, available 24/7." On course cards it appears as a listed component, so it travels with specific titles. The uCertify Learn app works on any device for courses, labs, quizzes, simulations and flashcards, and the app section lists offline access, native app experience, hands-on lab support and "Always In-Sync" progress, so a learner can switch between web and phone and pick up where they left off.
For schools, colleges and businesses
The K-12 page is a full LMS offer for career and technical education. It is organized into four areas. Learn by Doing covers interactive lessons, hands-on labs, gamified test preps, capturing and sharing work evidence, in-app note-taking, and annotation and bookmarks. Section Setup & Enrollment lets a teacher create and customize a section, invite students, keep a roster and use instructor training and manuals. Course Delivery & Assessments gives an authoring tool, a test bank, test scheduling, "50+ Interactive Quizzing Items", password-protected exams and a remote proctoring tool "to prevent cheating". Data & Automation adds a data dashboard, gradebook, student ID verification and an AI Assistant Tutor, with attendance, participation and performance tracked automatically.
For schools that already run an LMS, the page states that the platform "integrates with your existing LMS through LTI to provide instant access to the learning materials and import grades & reports." It also says schools get "No Additional Cost" access "without any costly installations, or software license purchase," and that the uCertify Learn+ app opens "a promising catalog of 1000+ interactive lessons and hands-on labs." Teachers get "unique instructor training and user manuals," with a link to the support team.
The partner menu lists Higher Ed, Training Center, Business, International, Publisher and Government programs, and the homepage says it is trusted by "750+ Academic Institutions". The Create and Proctor items in the platform menu, and a "Start Teaching" invitation for instructors, show the authoring side. For companies, the uCertify for Business program is pitched at building interactive experiences, managing content and streamlining workflows, with a "Train Your Team" route to sign up.
Numbers, awards and buying
The K-12 page shows "1000+ Courses Developed", "3M+ Happy Users" and "50+ Interactive Items". Awards are a recurring theme: the homepage says the company won the CODiE Award for Best Career & Technical Education Solution in 2025, "marking 48 CODiE Awards in the past 12 years", while the K-12 page gives 47 SIIA CODiE Awards in 10+ years. The award list runs through categories such as Best Virtual Lab, Best Learning Management System and Best Formative Assessment Solution.
Individual courses carry a Buy Now button, and the site publishes no price list on these pages; schools are invited to "request a demo" or book a consultation. A newsletter signup offers 10% off, and the footer links to a refund policy and a Refer & Earn program.
Who it suits
uCertify suits an IT learner preparing for a vendor certification who wants more than a question bank: a structured course, a pre-assessment, practice tests and, above all, labs that run in the browser rather than on a home server. It suits a career changer working toward an entry-level certification, and the homepage pitches its courses at people looking to land a first IT job. It also suits a high school CTE teacher or college instructor who wants a packaged course with labs, an authoring tool, proctoring and a gradebook that plugs into the school LMS through LTI.
It is less suited to a learner who only wants a cheap practice test for one exam, since the product is built around full courses. Buyers comparing costs will need to look at individual course pages or ask for a demo, because the platform does not set its pricing out in one table.
