What RMC Learning Solutions is
RMC Learning Solutions prepares people for project management certification exams. Its home page headline is "Pass your CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP with trusted, proven methods," and the whole product is built around the exam prep books of Rita Mulcahy, which the site credits with "30+ years of global prep training." It serves two readers. A learner preparing for a certification buys the books, the exam simulator, eLearning or a live online class. A business can "Equip your team" with the same exam prep plus an upskilling library for project managers at every level. The site also runs a Training Partner Program, a route to "Become a RMC Certified Trainer", and a channel for distributors. The footer copyright is held by Peterson's LLC.
The headline outcome claim sits on the home page: "86% who studied with RMC passed their PMP." The site does not say how that figure was measured.
The PMP prep package
The PMP page is the most detailed and shows how the product fits together. It pitches the certification as proof that "you can lead people, processes, and business priorities," and suggests it as "the natural next step after your CAPM, especially with 3-5 years of experience under your belt." It also speaks to career changers from teaching, healthcare or the military, and lists the roles it has in mind: program manager, project manager, IT project manager, engineering project manager, product manager and business analyst.
The book. The core is the all-new PMP Exam Prep, 12th Edition, which the page says is "fully updated to match the latest exam content." It is written by PMP-certified experts, integrates concepts from the PMP Exam Content Outline, the PMBOK Guide 8 and Process Groups: A Practice Guide, and covers the People, Process and Business Environment domains and the predictive, agile and hybrid approaches. New in this edition are interactive practice questions with full explanations, case studies, exercises, games and online lessons, plus Rita's New Agile Process Chart for following how an agile project runs. The book carries RMC's "Tricks of the Trade" strategies for the test.
The exam simulator. This is the part students mention most. The page lists "2,200+ quality questions researched and written by certified-PMPs," split between predictive approaches (50%) and agile and hybrid approaches (50%), in multiple-choice, multiple-response, matching, hot spot and limited fill-in-the-blank formats, each cross-referenced to the textbook. The simulator offers "Unlimited 180 question, timed exam simulations" with optional 10-minute breaks, unlimited focused tests by domain, process group, knowledge area or keyword, and "up to five full exams with no repeat questions." Reports break results down by test, question, domain, development approach, process group and knowledge area, every question has the correct answer and a detailed explanation, and you can export a CSV of the questions you got wrong. A demo is offered before you buy.
eLearning. Self-paced study "rooted in real-world scenarios and interactive tools," with "no fixed pace," using visuals, exam tips, case studies and interactive tools to simplify the content.
Live online classes
For learners who want an instructor, RMC runs online classes. The page says its instructors use "proven accelerated learning techniques," include "one-to-one coaching," and work through "creative activities, case studies, games, and methods." Each PMP class:
- "Delivers all 35 education contact hours for the exam application."
- Is "Aligned to PMI's current exam content outline."
- "Covers predictive, agile and hybrid approaches."
- Comes with a "Free PMP exam prep book and exam simulator."
The page lists several PMP formats: a class on consecutive full days, a multi-day class of 10 sessions run over two weeks at 3.5 hours each, and evening sessions of 10 sessions over 5 weeks at 3.5 hours each, all at 35 contact hours or more. The page stresses "small class sizes," so that "each student benefits from personalized attention." By the end, it says, students should understand the project manager's role across predictive, agile and hybrid work, and "the differences between the real-world and PMI's good practices to correctly answer exam questions."
There is also a 3-day Project Management Fundamentals course, covering common project management terms and tools, work breakdown structures, the critical path and stakeholder engagement planning, and different management and leadership styles. The home page lists classes for "PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PM Fundamentals and more."
Upskilling for teams
Beyond exams, RMC sells an upskilling library meant to help project managers of all levels manage projects with confidence. The home page describes it as "eLearning courses, interactive games, PM tools, and webinars for entry-level to senior-level roles," in three areas: technical project management, strategic business management and leadership skills. Free webinars and Rita's Process Chart Game, an online tool, are open to anyone.
Prices
The PMP page gives one price: its PMP subscription plans are "designed to grow with you," and the page says they are "Starting at just $89.00 a month." Individual plan contents and class fees are on separate plan and booking pages. The footer links to an "RMC Guarantee" and to class policies, which set out the terms.
What students say
The success stories on the two pages are short. Amanda F.: "The course provided high quality tools. I spent less time studying and passed the PMP exam above target!" Lisa E.: "I could not have passed this exam without RMC Learning Solutions – most importantly the exam simulator!" Ramaneswara R.: "I passed with the RMC PMI-ACP prep book, flashcards and exam simulator." James R.: "The exam simulator was excellent; I passed above target in all areas on my first try!" Sandy S. credits "The RMC 4-day course" with helping, and David S. "appreciated the comprehensive coverage of traditional project management including change-driven project management practices." The site shows a Trustpilot badge.
Who it suits
RMC suits a project manager heading for the PMP who wants one coherent system rather than a pile of mixed resources: the Mulcahy book, a large simulator that mirrors the 180-question exam, and a live class that covers the 35 contact hours PMI asks for. Its evening and two-week formats fit people who cannot step away from work for a full block of days. CAPM candidates earlier in their careers and agile practitioners sitting the PMI-ACP get the same model of book, flashcards and simulator. Teams get exam prep alongside upskilling material, and training companies can license the method through the partner and certified trainer programs.
It is narrower than a general course library: the focus is PMI certifications and project management skills, so learners who want a broad catalog of business topics will need something else alongside it.
