Learning Tree International is a workforce training company that runs live, instructor-led courses in IT, cybersecurity, AI, cloud, project management, agile and leadership, many of them leading to vendor or industry certifications. Its about page says it has been in workforce development for over 50 years and offers "a comprehensive portfolio of over 600 courses, certificate programmes, and tailored workforce solutions". It serves two readers. An individual professional books a course, often to pass a certification such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator or CSPO. An organization, from a law firm to a government agency, trains teams through enterprise solutions or an annual subscription. The U.S. site gives an address in Herndon, Virginia, the Canadian site one in Ottawa, and the company also runs a UK site.

Courses and certifications

The catalog is organized into four areas on the home page: project management, agile and ITSM; cybersecurity compliance and risk; IT and technical skills, covering cloud, AI, software development and data; and leadership and business skills. The vendor menu shows how much of it is official certification training, with courses tied to Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA, ISC2, PMI, PeopleCert, PRINCE2, Scaled Agile, Scrum Alliance, ICAgile, Red Hat, Oracle, ServiceNow, VMware, Nutanix and others. The about page says these partnerships let Learning Tree provide "official training and certifications".

Trending courses on the home page include Microsoft Azure Administrator (5 days), Power BI analytics (PL-300, 4 days), a Leading SAFe certification course with an AI focus (3 days) and a multi-week Future Leaders Professional Certificate Program. The agile range is deep: Certified ScrumMaster, CSPO, A-CSM, ICAgile coaching and facilitation certifications (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF), PMI-ACP, AgilePM and AgileBA, and short workshops that award Scrum Alliance microcredentials, such as Agile OKRs and AI for Product Owners. A one-day course page lists dozens of short technical courses, many of them Microsoft and GitHub titles on AI agents, security and Copilot, plus AWS, Google Cloud and PowerShell. Course listings also flag continuing education credit: several agile courses mention SEUs for Scrum Alliance and PDUs for PMI, and the solutions menu includes a CEU program. In August 2026 the company announced instructor-led preparation courses for Anthropic's Claude certifications.

How the training is delivered

Courses run online or in class, and the Canadian and UK listings mark most of them "Online or In-class". Online classes run on AnyWare, Learning Tree's virtual classroom, which a customer quoted on the home page praises for interacting with the instructor and classmates and doing hands-on exercises. The schedules menu includes a Guaranteed-To-Run course schedule, so learners can book dates that will not be canceled. One customer says this is why they keep coming back.

The site promotes three service promises. After-course instructor coaching lets a learner contact the instructor once the class is over. One testimonial describes using it to decide where to go after passing Security+. Learners also get 24/7 learner support and a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee". Official courses come with vendor materials and, where stated, an exam voucher: the AgilePM v2 to v3 conversion course, for example, includes "Official APMG materials, exam voucher, and expert coaching". Some topics, such as Agile Fundamentals, are also offered on demand.

Prices for single courses

The Canadian and UK course catalogs print "Starts from" prices on each listing. On the Canadian site, many 3-day courses start from $2,885, the 5-day AgileBA Foundation and Practitioner course starts from $3,895, and a short workshop such as Agentic AI Explained starts from $846. Some listings, especially conversion and team courses, show "Team Training" instead of a price. The home page also sells training vouchers, which let an organization prepay for courses.

The Advantage Plan subscription

For learners who need several courses a year, Learning Tree sells the +Advantage Plan, an annual subscription. The UK site prices it at £3,150 "per individual, per year" and the Canadian site at $5,150 CAD "per individual, per year". The plan pages describe access to more than 300 virtual instructor-led courses, more than 100 certifications and more than 180 virtual labs, with unlimited access to the guaranteed-to-run courses included in the plan.

The FAQ on the plan page sets clear limits. Members can take unlimited courses, but "you can only enroll in 2 course events at a time". Seats on the individual plan are not transferable. A footnote adds that the individual plan "is only available to individuals from a company with 10 or more employees". Learning paths help plan a year of study, for example an Agile Coach path from Agile Fundamentals through ICP-ATF to ICP-ACC, or paths for Certified Scrum Master, CSPO, PMI-ACP and SAFe for government.

Organizations training 5 or more employees are pointed to the Enterprise +Advantage Plan. Its page lists virtual instructor-led training, practice exams and labs, downloadable course materials, after-course coaching, an enterprise solution manager and guaranteed course dates, and says the plan includes over 300 guaranteed courses. Unlike the individual plan, the enterprise version lets an organization change the seat designation on the anniversary of the plan. Customer quotes on the plan pages come from a law firm CIO whose department completed over 65 classes, a city financial management team and a Bureau of Land Management budget analyst.

For organizations

Beyond the plans, the solutions menu covers an AI Adoption Framework, certificate programs, coaching, custom content, enterprise and government solutions, learning paths, skills assessments and managed training. The about page describes "custom learning paths, skills assessments, and managed training services, all designed to align with strategic business goals".

Scale and recognition

Learning Tree's figures vary slightly by page. The plan pages say "more than 3 million individuals and 65,000 organizations" have trusted it, while the UK about page shows 3.5M+ professionals trained, 65,000+ organizations served, 500+ expert advisors and 600+ courses. The about page lists industry recognition including Microsoft Gold Learning Partner in Data Platforms, a 2025 Training Industry Top 20 IT & Technical Training Company listing and a CompTIA Global Platinum Partner Award. Recent press releases cover an expanded AI Adoption Framework and the company becoming a ServiceNow Authorized Training Partner.

Who it suits

Learning Tree suits professionals who learn best with a live instructor and want an official course before a certification exam: a systems administrator preparing for the Azure Administrator exam, a security analyst taking CompTIA Security+ or an ISC2 course, a scrum master moving from CSM to A-CSM, or a manager taking a leadership certificate program. Guaranteed-to-run dates and after-course coaching reduce the risk of planning around a course that might not happen.

It especially suits employers. The Advantage Plans give a predictable annual cost per person for several courses, and the enterprise version adds a solution manager and transferable seats. The trade-off is price: a single 3-day course costs more than most self-paced video subscriptions, and the individual Advantage Plan is reserved for people working at companies with 10 or more employees.
