What AnalystPrep Is
AnalystPrep is an online test prep provider for finance and actuarial certification exams. Its FAQ describes it as "a test prep provider for CFA®, FRM®, and SOA® exams," and the site sells study packages for all three levels of the CFA Program, the CFA ESG certificate, both parts of the FRM exam, actuarial Exams P and FM, and, under a graduate admission section, the GMAT and the Executive Assessment. The footer gives a Montreal address (1751 Richardson Street, Montreal, QC) and a copyright line running from 2014.
The product is a study platform rather than a classroom: question banks, computer-based mock exams, video lessons, study notes, formula sheets and performance tracking, sold as packages with 12-month or lifetime access. The FAQ makes the price argument directly, presenting AnalystPrep as a low-cost option in finance test prep and inviting candidates to test the product for free and "see why you don't need to pay $1,000 for high-quality education content." The pricing page says the company aims to keep prices below the industry average.
For a reader coming from finance and investing courses rather than exam prep, the substance is the same material: the CFA curriculum on portfolio management, quantitative methods and wealth planning, the FRM curriculum on market, credit and operational risk, and the ESG investing certificate, all taught through notes, videos and practice questions.
What a Candidate Gets
The home page sums up the toolset in four parts. Study notes and video lessons are "continuously updated with new examples." Question banks are exam-style and available online or as printable PDFs. CBT mock exams are designed to mimic exam day, again online in computer-based testing format or as PDFs. Customizable quizzes let a candidate mix topics and add a global timer to move gradually toward exam conditions.
The question banks are the center of the product. For CFA Level I, the home page says free sign-up gives more than 150 exam-style questions covering each learning outcome statement, with an upgrade adding unlimited customizable quizzes and printable mock exams; performance tracking lets you compare your score with thousands of other QBank users. For Level II, AnalystPrep says it has built a vignette-style question bank of 200 cases, each with 6 practice questions. Level III focuses on wealth planning and the decisions an analyst or portfolio manager makes for clients, and its packages add essay-type questions. On the FRM side, the home page offers 4,500 exam-style practice questions across Part I and Part II, written by academics in risk management; Part II covers market risk, credit risk, operational and integrated risk management, investment management and current issues in financial markets. A site-wide banner advertises 4,000+ questions across all CFA levels.
The FAQ says questions are written by a team that includes CFA Charterholders, FRM Certified Members, PhD candidates and PhDs. The courses page names instructors: Professor James Forjan, PhD, CFA on the CFA courses, Martin Stoynov and Rahul Agarwal alongside him on the Unlimited+ package, Luca Michienzi, CFA, CAIA on the ESG course, and Stephen Paris, PhD, ASA on the actuarial courses.
Higher packages add an ask-a-tutor feature, and the partnerships page lists real-time interaction with instructors when you need help. The CFA menu also lists live sessions for Level I. Most packages come with printable question banks and study notes. There is no mobile app; the FAQ says the web platform is optimized for phones and tablets.

The courses page lists 1-on-1 online CFA tutoring with George Beshara at $119 and 1-on-1 online tutoring for GMAT, Executive Assessment and MBA admission, run with Myguru, at $249. A banner on several pages advertises 20% off all packages with a promo code. The pricing page says there are no monthly fees or hidden costs, and that curriculum updates are included when the exam changes. The FAQ answers "What is AnalystPrep's Pass Guarantee?" with a promise of lifetime access on the Unlimited Packages rather than a refund: "You will never have to pay the same content twice!" The menu links to payment plans. Student discounts are handled by contacting support, and the FAQ says a receipt for your employer is always sent by email.
The Free Trial
The free trial page is specific. There is no credit card and no time limit: trial access "lasts as long as you need." It includes the complete first topic of the study notes, 100 practice questions with full explanations, and 20% of the video lessons. You sign up, use the materials right away, and upgrade when ready. The page shows a 5.0 Facebook rating and 4.8 ratings on EduReviewer and Google.
Support, Track Record and Corporate Use
The home page promises 24/7 technical support via chat and email, and the FAQ points to support@analystprep.com and an in-app chat box. Testimonials on the pricing page name individual support staff and describe questions about the curriculum being answered.
On scale, the partnerships page says AnalystPrep is an approved prep provider from the Global Association of Risk Professionals and that over 25,000 users have answered over 1.5 million practice questions; the counters on the same page show 4.5 million questions answered and 50 thousand satisfied customers. The home page calls it "The #1-Rated Prep Platform for the CFA® Program and the FRM® Program," citing review websites. The footer carries GARP's disclaimer that it does not endorse AnalystPrep or any pass rates claimed, and a matching CFA Institute disclaimer.
For employers and universities, the partnerships page describes customizable corporate and institutional solutions, available on request after a demo, built from the same question banks, quizzes, performance metrics and notes.
Who It Suits
AnalystPrep suits self-directed CFA, FRM and actuarial candidates who learn by doing questions and want a large, exam-style bank at a modest price, especially those planning to sit several levels, where the $799 lifetime packages remove the need to buy again. The open-ended free trial makes it easy to judge question quality first. Candidates who want a fully taught classroom course will find the format lighter: the core is practice and review, with tutoring sold separately. The lack of a native app matters little given the mobile-friendly web platform, and firms or universities can ask for a group setup. The site publishes no pass rates of its own.
