What NobleProg is

NobleProg is an international training and consultancy group that sells live, instructor-led courses on technology and business topics to organizations and individual professionals. Its homepage describes it as "an international training and consultancy group, specializing in custom, live instructor-led training on the newest technologies", and its page titles carry the slogan "The World's Local Training Provider". Every course is taught live by a trainer, either online or at a training venue or the customer's own premises; this is not a self-paced video library. The footer on each country site reads "NobleProg® Limited 2005" and states that NobleProg is a registered trade mark of NobleProg Limited and its affiliates.

The "local" part of the slogan is literal. The US site lets buyers choose a sales area from California to Texas, and the footer links country sites across Europe, Asia Pacific, North and South America and Africa and the Middle East, including Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, Japan, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Egypt, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The country sites list courses and dates for their own markets, in local currency, and some in the local language.

How the training works

Each course page uses the same model. A US cloud computing page, for example, says training "is available as 'online live training' or 'onsite live training'. Online live training (aka 'remote live training') is carried out by way of an interactive, remote desktop. Onsite live Cloud Computing training can be carried out locally on customer premises in the US or in NobleProg corporate training centers in the US." Course descriptions typically list a format of "Interactive lecture and discussion", "Lots of exercises and practice" and "Hands-on implementation in a live-lab environment", and almost every course offers customization: "To request a customized training for this course, please contact us to arrange."

The remote desktop is NobleProg's own DaDesktop Cloud System, which the homepage says supports interactive, hands-on training for distributed teams by merging traditional classrooms into one virtual learning environment. The company also advertises "guaranteed public training courses", delivered live online or onsite, for individuals who are not booking a private class. Its menu lists an E-Certificate page, testimonials and an FAQ, and several country sites list an eLearning offer alongside the live courses.

The catalog

The course catalog is very broad. Its categories run from Artificial Intelligence (with tracks for software development, DevOps, finance, healthcare, marketing, manufacturing and the public sector) through Big Data, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Containers and VMs, Cyber Security, Data Science, DevOps, Linux, Machine Learning, Microservices, Mobile Development, Programming, Quantum Computing, Robotic Process Automation, Site Reliability Engineering, UX Design and Web Development, to non-technical areas such as Management, Marketing, Project Management and Soft Skills. Vendor and certification categories include CompTIA, Accredited PeopleCert, BCS, PECB and ISO Standards.

For developers, the homepage's popular courses include ChatGPT (building web applications with it), Kubernetes from Basic to Advanced and a four-day Advanced Python course, alongside Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Managers. The US cloud computing category has subcategories for AWS, Azure, Terraform, Google Colab, OpenStack, VMware and Boomi, with courses such as Azure Data Factory (14 hours), Google Certified Associate Cloud Engineer (35 hours), Google Cloud Platform Basics and Management (21 hours), Nutanix AHV Administration (21 hours) and Reinforcement Learning with Google Colab (28 hours).

Test automation is another deep area. The Peru site's test automation page lists Test Automation with Selenium and with Selenium and Jenkins (21 hours each), Introduction to TestStand Automation and Advanced TestStand (21 hours each), Advanced C# for Automation Test Engineers, Test Automation with Apigee (14 hours), an Advanced Automation Testing and Maintenance course (35 hours), and exam preparation for CTAL-TAE (21 hours) and Tricentis Tosca (14 hours).

NobleProg also trains people who run online learning. Its LMS courses include LMS Certification: Managing Learning Management Systems Effectively (14 hours), Learning Management System (LMS) Management (21 hours), aimed at "training coordinators, instructional designers, and HR administrators", and Learning Management Systems (LMS) for Instructors, Trainers, and Course Creators (14 hours), which the Hungarian site says "helps instructors master Moodle for creating, managing, and customizing online courses."

Course lengths and prices

Courses are sold by the session, in hours of live training, usually 7, 14, 21 or 35 hours. Each country site shows its own scheduled dates and prices, often with an online price and a higher classroom price. On the US site, Stress Management and Prevention (7 hours) is listed at $1065 online or $1665 in a classroom, and Facilitating Reskilling and Upskilling for a Future-Ready Team (14 hours) at $2703 online or $3903 in a classroom. US promotional courses on the homepage show reduced online prices, for example Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Managers (7 hours) cut from $1630 to $1290, and Claude AI for Data Analysis and Business Intelligence (14 hours) cut from $2703 to $1990.

In Europe, the Hungarian site lists LMS Management online for 810 EUR and the LMS certification and instructor courses online for 540 EUR each, while the Italian site lists LMS for Instructors at 2,100 EUR online and 2,500 EUR in a classroom, and LMS Management at 3,150 EUR online and 3,750 EUR in a classroom. Prices therefore vary widely by country and format, and buyers should check their own country site.

Beyond public courses

The homepage sets out three services besides public courses. Training Courses help "your organization's key contributors" learn new technologies. Reskilling and Upskilling programs, with their own bootcamps and a digital transformation offer, help teams "acquire the skillsets and knowledge needed for the changing of your organization". Consultancy brings in an expert to resolve bottlenecks in mission-critical projects. There is also a Managed Training Service and a Training Delivery Platform, and a dedicated government menu for public-sector buyers. The Saudi Arabia site, for example, lists the same catalog, an eLearning offer described as an "online learning management system for onboarding and continued development", and contact through a regional email address.

Who it suits

NobleProg suits companies and public bodies that want a live trainer on a specific technology for a team, particularly when they want the content customized or delivered on site, and professionals in many countries who want a scheduled live course in their own region or language. Its catalog reaches well beyond mainstream coding into niches such as TestStand, Nutanix or Apigee, and its LMS courses serve training teams that administer Moodle. It suits less well a learner on a tight budget or one who wants to study at their own pace, since every course is a scheduled live session priced per seat, with day rates closer to corporate training than to an online course subscription.
