What Lumify Work Is
Lumify Work is a corporate IT training company. It runs vendor-authorized courses for IT teams and professionals, delivered in classrooms, live online and, for some vendors, on demand, and it sells a white-label learning management system and custom eLearning to organizations. The home page describes it as "The leading provider of information and communications technology training in Australasia" and promises vendor-certified IT and process training "delivered in classroom and online by our award-winning trainers." The headline count is "13 Categories. 700+ Courses."
The business is DDLS Australia Pty Ltd trading as Lumify Work, part of Lumify Group, and the site runs local versions for Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. Its listed locations are Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Adelaide, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Manila. The home page cites "a 30-year history of driving innovative, award-winning learning solutions." It is an organization product first, aimed at L&D and IT managers, though individuals can book courses too.
What the Catalog Covers
The 13 categories are Agile and Scrum; AI and Machine Learning; Application and Web Development; Business Analysis and Architecture; Business Applications; Cloud Computing and Virtualisation; Cyber Security; Data and Analytics; End User Applications; IT Infrastructure and Networks; IT Service Management and DevOps; Professional Development; and Project and Programme Management. Shortcuts point to Microsoft, AWS, ISC2, Cisco and ITIL courses.
The Cloud Computing and Virtualisation page shows what a category holds. Microsoft Azure courses include a 4-day administrator course covering subscriptions, identities, virtual networking, storage, virtual machines and monitoring, and an architect course on designing infrastructure. VMware Cloud Foundation courses run 5 days. Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops teaches learners to "create a new Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops deployment." Commvault courses are run by Commvault itself: Commvault Professional (three days), Commvault Engineer (three days, covering environment design, virtualization, IntelliSnap and performance management), Commvault Expert (five days), Advanced Configuration (two days) and Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting. AWS courses include AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, Architecting on AWS, Building Data Lakes on AWS and Amazon SageMaker Studio for Data Scientists, and Red Hat OpenStack courses include CL110, CL210 and CL211 (the last with an exam).
AI training spans vendor courses such as Generative AI on AWS for Executives (half a day), the AI+ Architect Practitioner and AI+ Cloud Practitioner courses from AI CERTs, and Microsoft's half-day course on delegating work with Copilot.
Delivery Options
Most training is instructor-led. The site's "Lumify Anywhere" options include host classrooms, remote classrooms and remote students, with training delivered in its own classrooms, by telepresence or at the customer's offices. A course schedule lists upcoming dates, and room hire is offered at its campuses.
Not everything is live. Some AWS courses are on demand and self-paced, including AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) and AWS Certified Developer Associate (DVA-C02), each listed with 365 days of access. The home page also promotes "AI-Driven, Role-Based Learning Subscriptions" through a Learning Experience Platform that "complements your instructor-led strategy."
Vendor Partnerships
Lumify Work's strongest claim is its vendor relationships. The home page says it is "Proudly vendor and platform agnostic" and lists its standing with each vendor in its own words:
- "Australia's first and largest Microsoft Training Services Partner for classroom and virtual training."
- Australia's largest authorized Cisco Learning Partner, and "Australia's premium AWS Partner."
- "Australia's largest training partner for ServiceNow's suite of service management courses."
- "ANZ's exclusive Veeam Authorized Education Center since 2019."
- "ANZ's largest ISACA Accredited Elite Training Partner, delivering CISM, CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, CDPSE, and CCOA."
- "ANZ's largest Preferred Official Training Partner, delivering CISSP, CCSP, SSCP, CSSLP, CGRC, and CC" for ISC2.
- Security training for ISC2, ISACA, CompTIA, EC-Council, PECB, OffSec, Practical DevSecOps and CertNexus.
- The "only Platinum Partner in ANZ" for ITIL, PRINCE2 and DevOps training, Australia's largest authorized Red Hat delivery partner, and "Australia's first Platinum Authorized Training Partner for AI CERTs."
The Business Analysis and Architecture category, the site says, leads to Agile Business Analysis and TOGAF certifications, and Agile and Scrum courses can be bought as Foundation and Practitioner bundles.
White-Label LMS
The second product is a learning management system for organizations. The site describes "a learning portal for uploading, managing, delivering, and tracking your online resources and training programs," offered as "a custom off-the-shelf, white-label LMS" with the customer's look and feel. The benefits page lists:
- Access on all browsers and platforms, including tablets and mobile devices.
- Technical and administrative support, with issues logged online at any time.
- Hosting in Australia on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
- Teaching and learning tools with integration options to fit the customer's systems.
- A virtual training session and resources during onboarding.
- Custom branding and a custom URL if required.
Rollout follows six steps: discovery and needs assessment, a tailored proposal, content and integration strategy, demo and testing, training and onboarding, then launch and ongoing support.
The case study is The Missing Link (TML), which "needed to transition their facilitator-led Copilot course to an interactive eLearning format to reach a broader audience and a white-label LMS to manage their courses efficiently." Lumify built the eLearning course "including chatbots, graphics, videos, and interactive components," plus a white-label LMS in TML's branding. Blended Learning and Custom eLearning are offered as related services.
Other Services
For organizations the site also lists Cyber Security Solutions to help businesses "grow and evolve their security maturity," AI Strategy and Advisory for "responsible AI adoption," a Channel Partner Program for resellers, events and offers. For large rollouts of business applications, it says it can train teams "across multiple locations and thousands of seats."
Pricing and Contact
The pages here print no course or LMS prices; the site invites visitors to choose their local site for "pricing, and offers," and LMS customers fill in a form so the team can scope their needs. Contact is by phone, by email to training@lumifywork.com, or through "Speak to a consultant."
Who It Suits
Lumify Work suits IT managers and L&D teams in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines who need vendor-authorized training for staff on Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Red Hat, VMware, Commvault, Citrix or security certifications such as CISSP and CISM, delivered in a classroom, remotely or at their offices. It suits organizations that want a branded LMS hosted in Australia, or a facilitator-led course turned into eLearning. Individual IT professionals can join scheduled courses or take the self-paced AWS courses.
It suits less well a beginner looking for a first, low-cost introduction to coding: the catalog is built around vendor technologies and certifications for people already working in IT.
