What IT LEARNING SLOVAKIA is

IT LEARNING SLOVAKIA is a certified IT training center in Bratislava that teaches live, instructor-led computer courses, either in its own classrooms or online in a virtual classroom. Its FAQ says the company has been "od roku 2008 etablované školiace stredisko" (an established training center since 2008), and the site banner calls it "už 18 rokov špičkové certifikované školiace stredisko" (a top certified training center for 18 years). Courses are taught in Slovak and cover programming and web development, AI tools, Microsoft Office, graphics, digital marketing, databases, servers and networking. Alongside the live courses runs VideoClass, a library of more than 550 short video courses made by the center's own trainers.

How the courses work

The FAQ is explicit that a course is not a video: "Kurz je živý a vedený lektorom" (the course is live and led by a trainer). Learners attend in person at the classrooms on Kominárska street in Bratislava or join a live online class through Microsoft Teams, where the trainer can see and hear participants and follow their work on screen. A computer or laptop with internet, headphones and a microphone are enough. Most courses also run online, though only those with scheduled online dates.

Courses come in three time slots: day courses from 9:00 to 15:00 with an hour's lunch break, evening courses from 16:00 to 20:00 and weekend courses from 9:00 to 14:00. Some technical tracks run longer; the official MikroTik courses go from 9:30 to 17:30. Multi-day courses run on consecutive days. Learners pick a trainer by picking a date, since each date shows who teaches it.

Teaching is hands-on. The FAQ says, "Počas kurzu si všetko sami precvičíte priamo na počítači" (during the course you practice everything yourself directly on the computer), and "Teórie je len toľko, koľko je potrebné na pochopenie" (there is only as much theory as is needed to understand). Participants can ask questions beyond the outline, and the trainer will recommend a follow-up course or video if a topic needs more time. The center has 10 equipped computer classrooms holding 7 to 18 seats, with groups usually under 12. Each course comes with study materials or a handbook.

Levels are numbered (Excel I., II. and III., Python III, Linux/UNIX III. and IV. for administrators), and every course page carries a detailed outline so learners can choose their level. The FAQ says courses suit complete beginners as well as advanced users, and offers a free online knowledge test.

The catalog for coders

For the tech and coding reader, the catalog covers web creation and programming (HTML, advanced HTML 5 and CSS 3, CSS, JavaScript with jQuery, NodeJS and Vue, PHP and Front-End Developer courses), programming languages (Python, Java, C# and others), Python data analysis, software testing for junior and senior testers with Jira, databases (Oracle, MySQL and MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL), Windows Server and Linux administration, Linux Bash, and computer networks with official MikroTik courses such as MTCNA, MTCSE and MTCSWE. WordPress and WooCommerce courses teach site building "pre neprogramátora" (for non-programmers).

AI is a growing area. The home page lists courses on ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude and Microsoft 365 Copilot, including Claude AI v každodennej práci I. (Claude AI in everyday work), Microsoft 365 Copilot prakticky II. and III., AI v Google Ads and an AI REFRESH 2026/2027 course on agents, MCP and Copilot. Other areas include Excel and VBA, Power BI, SAP and ABAP, Adobe graphics, DaVinci Resolve video editing, AutoCAD, SEO, copywriting and social media advertising.

VideoClass

VideoClass is the center's online video platform. The FAQ describes "viac ako 550 videokurzami, ktoré vytvorili priamo naši lektori" (more than 550 video courses created by our own trainers), for revising course topics and filling in what did not fit into a live class. Participants get VideoClass free for 60 days as part of a course. It can also be bought on its own: a video page lists all 550+ videos for 244,77 € for 365 days, or a single video for 14,90 € for 30 days. Recent videos include a full MS-900 Microsoft 365 course, GPT-6 Astra v praxi and a 27-minute lesson by Peťo Hecht on scheduling prompts and automating tasks in ChatGPT and Claude.

Prices and payment

Course prices are shown with and without VAT, and the home page's last-minute list shows discounts on dates with free seats. Examples from that list: Python III at 260,15 € (originally 289,05 €), MikroTik MTCNA at 490,77 € (originally 516,60 €), MikroTik MTCSE at 391,45 €, Microsoft Windows Server at 525,83 €, Linux/UNIX Bash I. at 177,12 € and Claude AI v každodennej práci I. at 175,28 € (originally 184,50 €). The FAQ says last-minute discounts range "od 5 % do 35 %" depending on course and date, and companies sending several people to one date get a discount that depends on the number of participants.

Payment is by bank transfer or cash before the course; the FAQ says card payment is not possible and installments are not offered. Company invoices are available, and VAT-registered firms can deduct the VAT. Many courses can also be paid through the labor office (úrad práce), and a Múdra karta annual subscription, released about twice a year, lets holders book open seats.

Guarantees and certificates

The FAQ promises a full refund if a learner is unhappy with the quality or running of a course. A free repeat of an open group course can be requested within 30 days of the end of the course, or for a year with the paid Plus service. Rebooking or canceling is free with advance notice; with Plus+ the date can be changed even on the day of the course.

After a course, learners receive a certificate of completion stating the course name and scope. The FAQ says the center is a certified institution under § 10 of Act No. 292/2024 on adult education, holds ISO 9001 certification, is a member of the Slovak adult education association AIVD, has been a Microsoft Silver Partner since 2017 and is an official MikroTik Training Center. Course pages add its registration number with the Slovak education ministry, RCVI_2025_000143. Course ratings are public; the Digitálny marketing III. page, for example, shows 99,09 % from 33 reviews.

For companies

The center trains teams on site anywhere in Slovakia, bringing laptops and a projector if needed, and builds custom courses on request. It says it trains "tisíce účastníkov" (thousands of participants) a year, and shares company references with quotes rather than displaying client logos.

Who it suits

IT LEARNING SLOVAKIA suits Slovak-speaking learners and companies who want live teaching with a trainer, in a Bratislava classroom or online, from first steps in Python or HTML to Linux administration and MikroTik certification. The free repeat, refund guarantee and VideoClass access suit learners who like to revisit material. Open courses are taught in Slovak, so English speakers need to ask for one of the selected courses the FAQ says can run in English. Learners who want a self-paced program only can buy VideoClass on its own.
