InfoSyte is an IT training and certification provider for working professionals and companies. Its home page says, "We are a Malaysian-based company that provides IT training course to clients all over the world," and that "InfoSyte has been in the IT industry for over 13 years." Training runs as short, scheduled certification courses of one to ten days, priced in Malaysian ringgit, across cloud, AI, cybersecurity, networking, data science and infrastructure. The banner at the top of the site reads "Only VEEAM Authorized Training Provider in Malaysia" and "AWS Authorized Training Provider."

The course catalog

Courses can be browsed by level (Fundamental, Intermediate, Advanced and Experts), by product (Amazon Web Services, Huawei, CompTIA, Microsoft, Pearson VUE, VEEAM and InfoSyte's own courses) and by category (AI and machine learning, cloud computing, infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, data science and Dynamics 365). Each course card shows its length in days, its level and its price.

The home page's popular courses give a clear picture:

  • Architecting on AWS: 3 days, Intermediate, RM 5,400.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials, Generative AI Essential on AWS and Building Batch Data Analytics Solutions on AWS: 1 day each, RM 1,800.
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM): 4 days, Advanced, RM 9,000.
  • CISA: 5 days, Advanced, RM 9,500.
  • Veeam Backup & Replication v13 (VMCE): 4 days, Advanced, RM 5,900.
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst: 3 days, Intermediate, RM 2,750.
  • Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals: 1 day, Fundamental, RM 1,400.
  • Mastering Microsoft Copilot for Office Productivity: 1 day, RM 1,299.
  • Huawei HCIA Security v4.0 and HCIA-AI v3.5: 5 days, RM 5,500 each; HCIA-Cloud Computing v5.5: 6 days, RM 5,500; HCIA-Datacom v1.0: 10 days, RM 7,500.
  • CompTIA A+, Data+ and Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+): 5 days each, RM 3,500.

For the tech and coding reader, the most direct entry point is the Pearson VUE IT Specialist series, each at RM 995: HTML and CSS (1 day), Python (3 days), Software Development (3 days) and Artificial Intelligence (5 days). These Fundamental-level courses carry the name of Pearson VUE's IT Specialist certification series and give a beginner a short, structured start in a language. Learners who already code can move up into cloud architecture, AI on AWS or data analysis with Power BI.

Every course on the home page is labeled CERTIFICATION, which reflects how the catalog is built: each course maps to a vendor credential. The site also sells exam vouchers and runs a test center, so learners can buy the exam and sit it through InfoSyte.

How training is delivered

Courses run as scheduled, trainer-led sessions over a fixed number of days. The funding banner lists "Pembelajaran hibrid" (hybrid learning). Reviews on the home page name trainers and praise their technical depth. One learner writes, "Technical Details are better compared to other trainers and training institutes," about an Oracle Exadata Database Machine course; another thanks HRD Corp for funding and calls trainer Tze Lin "extremely knowledgeable, engaging and well prepared." The company says it takes "pride in the decades of cumulative experiences shared between our trainers."

InfoSyte's blog argues for hands-on labs in cybersecurity: "Hands-on cybersecurity labs bridge this gap by allowing learners to practice realistic attack scenarios in a safe environment before facing an actual incident." It lists the scenarios such labs cover, including investigating compromised systems, detecting suspicious network activity, responding to ransomware attacks, analyzing malware, hardening vulnerable infrastructure and identifying common attack techniques, and the skills each builds, from forensic analysis and threat hunting to incident recovery. The post is written for employers as much as learners. It argues that "cybersecurity training should be viewed as a risk reduction investment, not simply an employee development expense," and maps team skills to business results: configuring systems securely reduces vulnerabilities, monitoring security events detects threats earlier, and responding to incidents reduces downtime. It also says practical training helps organizations show the ongoing competency many regulatory frameworks now expect. The same post points readers to InfoSyte's Palo Alto cybersecurity courses. The site's current highlights also feature a Microsoft 365 Copilot HR use case course aimed at workforce productivity.

Funding and payment

Funding is central to how most learners pay. The site headline promises "Train & Certify - 100% HRD Corp Claimable," so Malaysian employers registered with HRD Corp can claim course fees. A Malay-language banner advertises fully funded IT courses: a choice of more than 30 course categories, funding of up to RM 150,000, no upfront payment and hybrid learning, "Khusus untuk bumiputera sahaja" (for bumiputera only). The site title also lists Perkeso, Peneraju and YPXLR8 among its funding routes. The blog adds that learners can "take advantage of HRDC claims and PERKESO EIS training or self-pay with instalment methods," and invites them to ask which courses each funding method covers.

The site footer links to a Cancellation & Refund Policy, a personal data protection notice and an FAQ, and the blog promotes ongoing sales and discounts.

Partners, awards and venue

Vendor authorizations are the backbone of InfoSyte's credibility. The awards section lists HUAWEI Malaysia 2021 Top Learning Partner Award, HUAWEI Learning Partner Of The Year in 2019 and 2020, VEEAM Authorized Education Centre Of The Year 2020, VEEAM Appreciation Award 2019, CompTIA Authorized Partner, Microsoft Partner Network, Linux Professional Institute Corporate Training Partner and ORACLE University Education Reseller 2017. Huawei recognition goes back to 2011.

InfoSyte is based at Setiawalk, Puchong, where it runs its exam center and rents training rooms. Two reviews on the home page praise the exam venue as clean and well organized. The site advertises free webinars, a news section and a blog with posts on Microsoft training in Malaysia and the return on cybersecurity certifications. Support runs over WhatsApp and email, which the site says is answered 24/7. The home page heading "5 Stars Reviews by Over 6600+ Students" sits above the testimonials.

Who it suits

InfoSyte suits Malaysian IT professionals and employers who want vendor certification training they can claim through HRD Corp, and bumiputera learners who qualify for the fully funded program. Infrastructure, cloud and security staff working with AWS, Microsoft, Huawei, Veeam or CompTIA credentials get short, focused courses with an exam venue on site. Beginners in programming can start with the Pearson VUE IT Specialist courses in Python or HTML and CSS.

It is less suited to learners who want open-ended, self-paced video learning, since the model is scheduled training over set days. Learners outside Malaysia can still book courses, but the funding programs that make the prices manageable are Malaysian schemes.
