HiSKIO

HiSKIO is a Chinese-language online course platform that sells video courses from named instructors, with programming and AI as its largest area and business, design and academic subjects alongside. The site calls itself "聚焦未來的線上學習平台" (an online learning platform focused on the future), and its home page motto is "人因學習而偉大" (people become great through learning). The interface is available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English, prices can be shown in USD or TWD, and the courses themselves are taught in Chinese. It serves individual learners buying single courses, instructors who publish their courses there, and companies that want a programming training library for their engineers through HiSKIO For Business.

Programming and AI courses

The technology section, 科技/程式, is organized into web development, databases and data science, software engineering, operations and testing, operating systems and servers, network and information security, and programming languages. Courses featured as platform exclusives on the home page show where the catalog is going:

Each course card shows a learner count and a rating; the Claude Code workflow course lists 3846 and the Python course 1688, most with a 5.0 rating. Some courses are sold before release through a crowdfunding stage (募資中); one AI agent course shows funding progress of 1120% and a presale price of US$100.45 against US$157.45. Others are announced as coming soon (敬請期待) while interest is collected, such as a Vibe Coding course by 林彥文 on turning ideas into working tools and products with AI. For beginners, 7 天零基礎搞定 AI 工具實戰, a seven-day introduction to AI tools for people with no background, was on offer at US$11.02.

Learning paths

The home page advertises "超過 1000+ 熱門學習路徑" (over 1000+ popular learning paths) that bundle courses toward a goal. Technical examples include 雲端維運職人力, a cloud operations path teaching the core of Kubernetes in 4 courses with 2517 participants, and 網站後端職人力, a back-end path teaching PHP and Laravel in 4 courses with 3131 participants. 技術成長到團隊溝通, which pairs technical growth with team communication, has 2 courses and 1631 participants. Career strategy series combine courses on career, team and revenue growth; the full three-course 成長策略全系列 lists 2091 participants. Paths show the number of courses and participants up front, which helps a learner judge how much a goal involves before buying.

Beyond programming

The other three sections are business and career (商業/職場), design and creativity (設計/創意) and professional subjects (專業學科). Examples include a negotiation and strategy course on the classic 鬼谷子 (US$377.88), a team communication course by 矽谷阿雅, a career strategy course by 孫治華, a product launch marketing course from a former multinational brand manager, illustration courses, home renovation, a guide to aging and health care, and trading courses built on TradingView and MultiCharts (the TradingView strategy courses list at US$692.78).

HiSKIO also sells ebooks in PDF and ePub. Technical titles include 鳥哥的Linux私房菜 (a Linux basics book, US$21.60), a PHP job interview guide, a book on web security for developers, a database primer and a Chinese edition of a programming interview book with 189 questions. The blog covers topics such as moving from Docker to Kubernetes, Python for personal finance and the difference between UI and UX.

HiSKIO For Business

The business page targets companies training developers, with the pitch "加速 Junior 到 Senior 的成長旅程" (speeding up the growth from junior to senior). It counts 6萬+ online learners, 300+ professional programming courses, 30+ senior industry instructors and 850+ corporate trainees. The training method has three steps: a tailored learning plan, online courses combined with offline practice, and coaching by industry experts.

Platform features for companies include unlimited viewing of 300+ programming courses on any device, learning data tracking per person and per department, a discussion area under each course, custom course management (uploading videos, assigning homework, running surveys), an independent learning environment and a company login page. Course areas listed are front-end and back-end development, mobile apps, databases and data science, operations and testing, AI and computer science.

Three plans are shown, each priced on request:

• 自主學習 (self-directed learning), for 3-15 people: unlimited viewing of 300+ courses, an independent learning interface, course discussion and individual progress tracking.
• 強化培訓 (enhanced training), for 5-30 people: adds expert training once per quarter, custom department groups, department progress tracking and a company login page.
• 業師計畫 (industry expert plan), for 10-50 people: expert training twice per quarter, uploading the company's own course videos, assigning homework, publishing surveys and per-video learning data.

The instructor lineup on the business page includes Jerry, described as a Google machine learning developer expert (GDE) with over 10 years of data science experience; 邱宏瑋, a Microsoft MVP working on Linux, networking, CI/CD and virtualization; 趙令文, a certified Java instructor who has been a contract instructor at 資策會 (Institute for Information Industry) for 15 years; 林志瑜, a data science instructor who has written more than ninety articles on algorithms from LeetCode; Kevin, a full-stack .NET instructor; 劉奕為, technology director at a rental-industry startup who works in PHP, Ruby and Python; and 李中皓, a senior product development consultant focused on mobile and network products. Their profiles stress years of hands-on development and teaching for training institutions.

Who it suits

HiSKIO suits Chinese-speaking developers who want to buy specific, practical courses, particularly on AI tools such as Claude Code, RAG and agents, Python, Kubernetes and back-end PHP, and who like seeing learner counts and ratings before paying. Learning paths give beginners a sequence to follow. Engineering managers can trial the business plan for a week and choose a tier by team size.

It does not suit learners who need courses taught in English, and those wanting an all-you-can-watch personal subscription will find that individuals buy course by course, with unlimited viewing reserved for business plans.
