EscuelaIT

Tap a star to rate

EscuelaIT is a Spanish-language online school for software development, web design, programming and digital marketing. Its home page headline is "Formación IT en español" (IT training in Spanish), and the FAQ describes the company as "una comunidad dedicada a la formación de personas y empresas" (a community dedicated to training individuals and companies) that teaches courses and workshops in every kind of technology related to programming, development, design and marketing. The operator named in the footer is Escuela Tecnologías de la Información S.L. It serves Spanish-speaking learners anywhere, from beginners writing their first program to working developers adding a framework, and it sells team training to companies.

How the courses work

The model joins live teaching with recorded study. Classes take place "100% online y en tiempo real" (fully online and in real time) in a virtual classroom run over videoconference, and any student who wants to can attend and ask questions on the spot through the class chat. Every session is then recorded in full and added to the course page with its materials, so a learner who cannot attend follows the same course at their own pace. The home page frames this as two modes: attend the live classes, with new courses every month and live classes and tutoring every week, or take the on-demand courses, "Cursos completos con material disponible para que marques tu ritmo de aprendizaje" (complete courses with the material available so you set your own pace).

The FAQ adds practical details. Each live session has at least two instructors, the lead teacher and a moderator or course coordinator. Recordings appear on the class page right after the session; only for the Software Development Master's does a recording take a few hours. On each class page, the video sits alongside the materials, a questions area and timestamped moments other learners can jump to. Presentations and code can be downloaded where a course includes them, while videos are streamed. Questions can be asked live in class or later under the relevant video, and the school communicates through a notifications area in the learner's course panel and by email.

The catalog

The programming subject page shows how deep the catalog goes. It lists courses from beginner to advanced with their length in hours, for example:

  • Curso de programación desde cero (programming from scratch): 39 hours.
  • Iniciación a la programación: Javascript + PHP: 33 hours.
  • Curso de Fundamentos del Software: 43 hours.
  • Curso de Programación Orientada a Objetos: 35 hours.
  • Curso de Pruebas del Software (software testing): 30 hours.
  • Curso de Patrones de Diseño de Software: 23 hours.

Further courses cover object-oriented analysis and design, software architecture, refactoring, unit testing with JUnit, requirements with use cases, project management with RUP, Scala and functional programming, and programming paradigms. For a first step the page recommends the Curso Gratuito de Introducción a la Programación, a free introductory course.

Beyond programming, the catalog spans front-end work (CSS, responsive layout, CSS architecture, PostCSS, JavaScript, Angular, Vue, React, Lit), back-end (Laravel, Symfony, Express, Spring, Django, Firebase, APIs), mobile (Android, iOS, Swift, Ionic, NativeScript), DevOps and cloud (Git, Azure, CI/CD), WordPress, SEO and social media. Recent and upcoming courses lean toward AI-assisted development: a Laravel MCP course, AI-assisted development in Laravel, GitHub Copilot, the Cursor IDE with AI, generative AI solutions with RAG, AI workflow automation and WordPress themes built with AI. The subscription page says the school has "más de 150 cursos en cartera" (more than 150 courses in its portfolio) with new courses every month.

Study plans (planes de estudio) order a sequence of courses toward a professional profile, grouped by area such as design, programming, front end, back end, full stack, systems and marketing. EscuelaIT also runs a Software Engineering Master's program, which the home page describes as bringing together all the development knowledge a career needs.

Instructors and certificates

The teachers page lists dozens of named instructors with their specialties, among them Miguel Angel Alvarez (full-stack developer), Alberto Basalo (JavaScript, Angular, NodeJS, MongoDB), Micael Gallego (Java, Spring, OOP), Luis Fernández (a doctor in artificial intelligence and computer engineer) and specialists in cybersecurity, Linux administration, SEO and UX design.

The FAQ says all courses offer a certificate. Depending on the subject, some require an exam and others check that the course was completed; the learner requests it from the course page and it is generated in their profile. Certificates are only issued for paid, completed courses: "No certificamos clases ni cursos gratuitos" (we do not certify free classes or courses). Learners can add certificates to LinkedIn.

Pricing

EscuelaIT sells in two ways. A single course can be bought outright: each course carries its own per-person price on its page, early buyers may get a discount, and purchased courses come with indefinite access ("el curso es para ti y para siempre"), materials, exams and certificates, and access to extra classes and tutoring.

The subscription gives flat-rate access to all present and future courses and all study plans. The monthly plan is 29 €/mes, paid each month with no minimum term. The annual plan works out at 25 €/mes, charged as a single payment of 299€. Cancellation is "con un solo click, sin dar explicaciones" (one click, no explanation needed). Monthly subscribers pay by credit or debit card; annual subscribers and course buyers can also use PayPal or bank transfer, the latter only from Peru, Spain and Mexico. Prices are shown in euros, but the FAQ says a card in any currency works, with automatic conversion. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.

For companies

Two business options appear on the home page. Online team training gives access to all courses and workshops, personalized progress reports for each team member, training routes adapted to goals, user account control, and knowledge checks with certification per person. In-company training offers custom routes, strategy design and exclusive courses delivered at the workplace. Companies request details through contacto@escuela.it.

Who it suits

EscuelaIT suits Spanish-speaking developers and designers who want live classes with experienced practitioners but also need recordings to fall back on, and who prefer a flat monthly fee to buying course by course. Its software engineering depth (patterns, testing, architecture, refactoring) sets it apart from catalogs built only around frameworks. Beginners can start with the free introduction and follow a study plan. Development teams in Spanish-speaking companies can use the business plan with per-person tracking.

Learners who need English-language courses will not find them here, and certificates are the school's own, issued only for paid, completed courses.
