DigiPAKISTAN is a national skills program that provides online IT training to young people in Pakistan and to overseas Pakistanis. The site calls it the "DigiPAKISTAN - National Skills Development Initiative," and its page descriptions call it "a government-supported IT training program in Pakistan offering free professional courses for global certifications." It is a learner product: people apply, enroll in a course, study online and receive a certificate at the end.

Mission and who it is for

The mission statement sets the tone: "To transform Pakistani Youth into a productive workforce to contest the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution," through demand-driven IT skills, "with increased access to high-quality education for everyone, anywhere and anytime." The vision is "to become a leader in building a highly skilled human resource in diversified IT domains and contribute to nation-building towards a knowledge-based economy."

To reach that, the initiative "provides contemporary online training of Information Technology in Technical, Non-Technical & High Tech Domains across all provinces of Pakistan & overseas Pakistanis." The homepage carries the program name in Urdu as well (ڈیجی پاکستان قومی ہنر مند ترقیاتی پروگرام, the DigiPakistan national skills development program), and it says the initiative was launched "with the vision of Pakistan's digital ambition and to work towards a digitally progressive and inclusive Pakistan." It points to the size of the country's young population as the reason ("Pakistan has the second biggest population of youth, and it can be turned into strength through digital work"), and says women can also contribute to the sector. The courses aim at "helping young career seekers understand the basic information technology functioning of the sector and the job role they aspire to take on." The homepage frames the need in hiring terms: "Today's highly competitive and demanding employment market is looking for only talented and skilled manpower with enough command on the information technology industry essentials."

The site's About page description says the program is "supported by the Government of Pakistan" and describes it as "aligning with international certifications from Google, AWS, Microsoft, and more." The menu includes messages from the Provincial Minister, the Director General, the Chairman of HEC Punjab and the Chairman of PEC, which shows the officials whose messages the site carries. The same About page description calls DigiPAKISTAN "a pioneering IT certification program" whose mission is "to enhance employability and foster digital transformation through world-class IT training," and speaks of "globally recognized skills for a digital future."

Program types

The homepage introduces the catalog as "wide range of programs designed to equip you with the skills needed for the future." Courses are grouped into three tracks:

  • Fast Track Technical Programs, which run for 3 months.
  • Fast Track Non-Technical Programs, the business, marketing and creative side of the catalog.
  • Associate Certification Programs, which run for 6 months.

Both program pages describe the offer the same way: "A continuously evolving stack of Information Technology Programs consoling the latest technologies are available at DigiPAKISTAN and all you have to do is to enrol yourself in your desired course."

The course catalog

The certificate page lists every course for which a certificate can be issued, which makes it the clearest view of the catalog: a graduate picks the course from this same list when requesting the certificate, so every title below is one the program issues a certificate for. Grouped by subject:

Web and app development. Frontend Web Development, Full Stack Web Development, MERN Stack, PHP Laravel, ASP.Net MVC, Android Apps, Kotlin Apps, iOS Apps, Xamarin Apps, React Native, and Game Development with Unity 3D/2D.

Programming, data and AI. Python for Everyone, Machine Learning and Data Science, Data Science, Big Data Certification, and Artificial Intelligence.

Cloud. AWS Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps, AWS Developer Associate, AWS Cloud Computing, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Cloud Administrator, and Google Cloud Engineer.

Networking, databases and security. CCNA (Computer Communication Network Administrator), Oracle DBA, SQL Server, CompTIA IT Fundamentals, CompTIA Security, Penetration Testing, Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), CISA, CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISSP, Cyber Security Professional, and ECSA Practical.

Associate programs in emerging fields. Associate Blockchain Program, Associate Internet of Things (IoT), and Associate Digital Forensic Program.

Business and office. QuickBooks ERP, SAP ERP, Project Management Professional (PMP), Microsoft Office, and Entrepreneurship.

Marketing. Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Digital Marketing, and Social Media Marketing.

Design and media. Graphic Designing, UI/UX Design, Video Editing, AutoCAD, MAYA, 3D Character Animation, 3D Animations, and Interior Design.

Many course names match well-known vendor certifications (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, CompTIA, CEH, CISSP, PMP). The site describes its training as aligned with those certifications; it does not say that the vendor exam itself is included.

Enrolling and getting a certificate

The site's route in is "Apply Now," with an Admission Process page and a login for enrolled learners. A FAQ page, which the site describes as covering "enrollment, certification, costs, and more," sits beside it, along with the program's Terms & Conditions. The homepage also has a Student Reviews section. The homepage puts it simply: "all you have to do is enroll yourself in your desired course." A section headed "Our Trainers Certified From" introduces the people who teach.

Certificates are retrieved online. On the Get Certificate page, a learner enters a CNIC (the Pakistani national identity card number), an email address and the course, then downloads the certificate. That tie to the CNIC also shows who the program is built for.

For questions, the homepage gives a phone number in Lahore's 042 area code and the address support@digipakistan.org.

Who it suits

DigiPAKISTAN suits young people in Pakistan, and Pakistanis abroad, who want a structured start in IT without travel: a 3-month fast track course for a quick skill, or a 6-month associate program for more depth. The catalog is broad enough for a future developer, a cloud or security learner preparing for a vendor certification, a freelancer adding SEO or graphic design, or someone moving into office and ERP work. The site's own descriptions present the courses as free and government-supported.

Learners who need a vendor certification should plan to take that exam separately, since the site describes alignment with those certifications rather than the exam. Because enrollment needs a CNIC and runs through an application, the program is built for Pakistani nationals rather than international learners.
