What Blockchain Council is

Blockchain Council Academy is an online certification catalog for learners who want a credential in blockchain, artificial intelligence, Web3 or cryptocurrency trading. It sells self-paced training and online exams, alone or as bundles, and issues its own certifications at the end. The home page invites visitors to "Embrace Blockchain, AI, and Web3 with a range of certifications offered by the Blockchain Council, designed to suit enthusiasts from all backgrounds." It also promises an "elite community" with "network offerings" for people starting out in deep tech. The academy's menu covers All Courses, Live Trainings, a Learning Path section, About Us and Support, so alongside the self-paced catalog there is a separate live training offer.

The site groups its reasons to join under four headings. Learn and Qualify is about understanding where blockchain is used and getting "certified by Blockchain Council" to distinguish a professional profile. Develop and Build promises firsthand experience in building applications and projects while learning from field experts. Lead and Grow speaks to people who want to bring blockchain-based solutions to businesses and enterprise applications. Boost and Acquire describes a curriculum "designed in guidance with industry and academia to develop job-ready skills". An intro video sits on the home page for visitors who want an overview before buying.

The catalog and its prices

The home page shows a cross-section of the catalog with prices in US dollars. The Certified Claude AI Expert costs $299.00 and contains 2 courses, with its exam also sold on its own for $239.00. The Certified AI Security Professional is $299.00 for 2 courses, again with a separate exam at $239.00. The Certified SLM Expert is $299.00 for 2 courses. The largest bundle shown, Master AI and Web3, costs $1,299.00 and contains 13 courses. Every card is labeled "Certification & Learning", and a link leads to the rest of the catalog, so these six are examples rather than the full list.

The pattern is clear from those cards: a certification usually comes as a small bundle of a training course plus an exam, and the exam can be bought separately, which helps a learner who has already studied the material elsewhere and only wants the credential. The pages show no free plan and no free trial; every item carries a price.

The Certified Cryptocurrency Trader program

The Certified Cryptocurrency Trader (CCT) page shows how one certification works in detail. It costs $349.00 as a bundle that includes a CCT training course, which shows a 4.8 average rating, and the CCT exam, listed inside the bundle at $299.00. The program says learners study "Technical Analysis, Candlesticks, Blockchains, Derivative Trading, and Good Investment Strategies", learning from "veterans in the Cryptocurrency space" with "a focus on learning trading by doing live examples". It is pitched at both beginners and experienced traders. The most distinctive element is a practical one: learners do "Crypto Trading with Real Money in CoinDCX, the official exchange partner of Blockchain Council". The page adds that traders with stock market experience have an advantage, since most of the concepts map directly to stock market trading, and that participants also learn the technology that powers blockchains behind the scenes.

The format is compact. The page lists 5 hours of training in total and 1 hour for the exam. Training is self-paced and online, "consumed as per the candidate's availability & speed", and both the training and the exam take place online at Blockchain Council Academy. Requirements are basic knowledge of blockchain and of cryptocurrencies, and the page says there is no recommended prior experience.

The exam rules are spelled out. It is "an online multiple-choice exam of 100 marks", and learners need 60% or more to pass. A learner who fails can retake it after one day, up to a maximum of 3 attempts. Anyone who still falls short after three attempts is told to contact the Blockchain Council team for "manual assistance for clearing the exam".

The page also states what the credential is for. Its listed purposes are to establish and govern minimum standards for credentialing professionals, to inform the public that credentialed individuals meet or exceed those standards, and to reinforce blockchain expertise as "a unique and self-regulating profession". The benefits section says the certification helps individuals show their cryptocurrency and blockchain credentials to potential employers, academic institutions and university admissions. These are the issuer's own statements; the page names no outside body that recognizes the certificate.

Who the courses are for

The CCT page carries a long audience list: investment bankers, consultants and advisors; university professors; engineering and management students; programmers, developers, software engineers and application architects; cryptocurrency enthusiasts; CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, CISOs and other executives; operations heads; senior government officials; security professionals and administrators; and venture capitalists, angel and seed investors. The home page's catalog, with AI security, Claude and SLM certifications next to blockchain and Web3, shows the academy has widened beyond crypto toward applied AI.

What learners say

Four reviews on the home page, all five stars, give a sense of the learner experience. Casiana Saini Marin wrote: "Its very complete, i like having quizzes at the end of each module." Jean-Luc Koenig was "Really impressed by the whole course from content to what was a good user experience." Anderson Pacchioni found the material useful "if you are embarking in the Metaverse world in order to have a holistic view of the potential of Metaverse and the technology and standards behind it." A fourth review from Reza Akhlaghi is titled "Great learning experience". The quiz-per-module structure mentioned in the first review is the only detail the pages give about how lessons are assessed along the way.

Who it suits

Blockchain Council suits professionals who want a quick, inexpensive credential in a specific emerging-tech area and prefer to study on their own schedule. A CCT learner can finish the training in an evening or two, and the generous retake rule takes some pressure off the exam. Finance professionals curious about crypto markets get a hands-on element through the real-money trading on CoinDCX, which should be approached with care, since it involves actual funds. Learners who want depth across several topics can look at the Master AI and Web3 bundle, and those who want an instructor rather than recorded material can explore the Live Trainings section. Developers seeking long, project-heavy engineering programs should check each course's hours first, since the certifications shown are short.
