Virtual Academy

Tap a star to rate

Virtual Academy (VirtualAcademy.pk) is a Pakistani online course site that sells recorded courses in practical computer skills: Microsoft Office, graphic design, web development, programming, video editing, English and content creation. It is based in Abbottabad, Pakistan, and its footer describes it as "Pakistan's leading online learning platform offering courses in Microsoft Office, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Programming, and more, all in Urdu and Hindi." Courses are bought one at a time and priced in Pakistani rupees. The homepage tagline is "Learn. Grow. Succeed." and it reports 16459 enrolled students.

What the catalog covers

The homepage lists its categories with course counts: Web Development (14), Office Productivity (7), Graphic Design (6), Programming (5), Video Editing (4), Language Skills (2), IT and Operating Systems (2), Digital Marketing and Content Creation (2), Architecture and Engineering (1), Web Designing (1), AI Tools and Automation (1) and Data Science and Machine Learning (0). Those counts describe a catalog of a few dozen courses, despite a marketing line about "Thousand Of Top Courses."

The courses group into a few clear tracks:

  • Office skills: Microsoft Word, Excel 2016, PowerPoint 2016 and Access 2016 complete trainings, a Microsoft Office from beginner to advanced course, InPage Urdu typing, and Microsoft Excel Mastery 2026, described as AI-powered.
  • Web development: HTML5, CSS3, a combined HTML5 and CSS3 course, Bootstrap 5, SASS and SCSS, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript from beginner to advanced, React, React Router and React Material UI, Django, MySQL, WordPress 2016 and a Web Design and Development Masterclass 2026.
  • Programming: C, C++ for beginner to expert, C++ object-oriented programming, Python from beginner to master, and a coding masterclass covering C, C++ OOP and Python.
  • Design: Canva, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and a Graphic Design Masterclass 2026.
  • Video: Camtasia, Filmora, CapCut and a Video Editing Masterclass.
  • Language and content: English grammar taught in Urdu-Hindi, an English grammar and spoken English masterclass, content writing, YouTube and Dailymotion earning tips, and an AI Content Creator Masterclass.
  • Engineering and IT: AutoCAD Architecture, Windows 10, and an introduction to computer technology.

Most titles promise a full path within one tool, from beginner to advanced or "Basics to Advance," and the masterclasses gather a whole track into one course: the web masterclass sits on top of the separate HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React courses, the coding masterclass on top of the C, C++ and Python courses, and the graphic design masterclass alongside the Photoshop, Illustrator and CorelDRAW courses. A learner can therefore buy single tools one at a time or take the larger course in one purchase. The earning angle shows up in titles such as YouTube and Dailymotion Earning Tips and the AI Content Creator Masterclass, which match the site's "Monetize Skill" pitch.

Some titles carry old version years, such as WordPress 2016 and Blogger 2016, so a buyer should check that a course matches the software version they use.

Teachers

Each course card names its instructor. Most courses come from four people: Taimur Pervez, who teaches the Office, AutoCAD, WordPress, video and AI content courses and is named as the site's owner on its blog; Usama Tahir, who teaches the programming and web development tracks; Ayesha Ahmed, who teaches English, Canva, CapCut, content writing and Windows; and SameeUllah Soomro, who teaches Photoshop and the Graphic Design Masterclass. Muhammad Shahnawaz teaches the Excel Mastery course. A "Become a Instructor" section invites others to join the teaching team, and the footer links to a Become Teacher page.

How learning works

The FAQ answers the format question directly: "Most of our courses are pre-recorded for flexible learning, but we occasionally conduct live sessions and webinars on specific topics." Learning is therefore self-paced video, with occasional live events. The homepage lists four steps: learn with experts, learn anything, "Get Online Certificate" and "Monetize Skill", which it explains as learning to earn from what you know. The site menu includes a Verification page for checking certificates. The FAQ adds that the academy regularly adds new courses "to keep up with industry trends and learner demand," and that account sharing is not allowed, since each account is for individual use.

Prices

Every course card shows a sale price next to a higher list price and a discount. A sample:

Support and blog

The FAQ says support is by email, and the site header and footer also give a team email address and a WhatsApp number. The blog is organized into AI, digital marketing, English language skills, video editing, learning skills, freelancing and search engine optimization. Recent posts by Nadia Abbasi walk beginners through SEO keyword research in Pakistan, long-tail keywords, keyword research with Google and free keyword research tools, and a longer guide by Taimur Pervez discusses how Pakistani students choose an online learning platform. A newsletter sign-up on the homepage announces new courses.

Who it suits

Virtual Academy suits a learner in Pakistan who wants to pick up a specific computer skill cheaply and learn it in Urdu or Hindi: an office worker improving Word and Excel, a student starting HTML, CSS and JavaScript, someone learning C++ or Python for the first time, or a creator getting started with Canva, CapCut or Filmora. Prices of a few hundred to a few thousand rupees per course make it easy to buy one skill at a time, and the masterclasses bundle a whole track into one purchase.

It suits less learners who do not follow Urdu or Hindi, anyone who needs a formally recognized qualification rather than a course certificate, or someone who wants regular live teaching, since most courses are recorded. Buyers should check the version year on software courses before paying.
