Unieducar
Tap a star to rate
Unieducar is a Brazilian distance-learning (EAD, ensino a distância) platform that sells online courses, seminars, lectures and exam preparation in Portuguese to professionals, students and, above all, public servants who need documented training hours. The homepage describes it as a "plataforma educacional de ensino a distância, com cursos, palestras e preparatórios para concursos" (a distance-learning platform with courses, lectures and preparation for public-sector exams). The footer says it is an education institution working in professional and managerial training "desde fevereiro de 2003" (since February 2003), registered as UNIEDUCAR INTELIGENCIA EDUCACIONAL, with an office in Brasília, a head office in Eusébio, Ceará, and administrative and academic offices in Fortaleza.
What the catalog covers
The category menu is long. It runs from accessibility, administration, agribusiness and architecture through accounting, law, legal updates, actuarial science, compliance, economics, education, entrepreneurship, civil engineering, finance, health, HR, IT, languages and English, Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), logistics, marketing, pedagogy, psychology, public security, workplace safety, sustainability, traffic and urban mobility, and tourism and hospitality. Separate sections cover seminars and lectures, free micro courses, and preparatory courses for the OAB and CFC exams and for public-sector competitive exams (concursos). There is also a category for the SENASP curriculum used in public security training.
The homepage features a sample from several areas:
- Accounting and finance: Contabilidade Geral (from the chart of accounts to balance sheet analysis), cost accounting, tax planning, corporate auditing and governance, public budgeting, credit and risk analysis tools, capital markets, futures, options and derivatives, and Gestão Financeira 4.0 on data analysis and cash flow with AI.
- Law: OAB exam preparation in civil law, tax, administrative, civil and constitutional law for concursos, and corporate law on judicial recovery and bankruptcy.
- Real estate law: rental law, eviction actions, property valuation and appraisal for urban and rural properties, the registry and notary system, and the effect of tax reform on property taxes.
- IT: titles such as PowerPoint 2007, Photoshop 7.0, Windows 7, CorelDraw 11, Microsoft Access 2007 - 2016, Excel 2010 Avançado and Word 2010, which shows that part of the software catalog teaches older versions.
- Administration: purchasing, commercial management, wholesale and retail, logistics and inventory, HR career and competency management, performance appraisal and competitive strategy.
Events sit alongside courses: workshops on topics such as ADHD and mental disorders or data analysis with AI, seminars on workplace harassment and labor compliance or literacy teaching, and lectures on forensic accounting, AI in professional decision-making and business ethics.
How courses are sold
Every course and event card on the homepage carries the same two buttons: "Escolha sua carga horária" (choose your course hours) and "Matricule-se" (enroll). The learner picks how many hours of training the certificate should show, which matters when an employer or public body requires a set number of hours. The site has a shopping cart and an online store, and the footer lists "Cursos Grátis com Certificado" and "Micro Cursos Gratuitos com Certificação", so some short courses are free and still come with a certificate. The homepage shows no prices. The footer also shows a "Garantia de satisfação" (satisfaction guarantee) badge without explaining its terms.
Certificates and the public-sector angle
Certificates are Unieducar's main selling point. The homepage has a "Consultar Certificados" section for looking up a certificate, a post-technical certificate, proof of registration, proof of enrollment and a declaration for Licença Capacitação (training leave). The footer lists pages on using certificates for career promotion in public service (Promoção Funcional), courses for complementary activities required by degree programs, courses for Licença Capacitação, technical and post-technical courses, "Cursos de Extensão Válidos MEC", "Diplomas válidos junto ao MEC" and "Programas de Qualificação Profissional Cadastrados no MEC" (professional qualification programs registered with the Ministry of Education). It also links to an institutional page called "Instituição de Notória Especialização" and to a section of normative acts covering accreditations, agreements and resolutions.
The company blog explains the logic. A post by Juracy Braga Soares Junior says certificates used for Licença Capacitação must meet specific requirements for hours and detailed course content set by HR departments of public bodies, and that Unieducar offers "certificação digital verificável, com assinatura eletrônica e validação online" (verifiable digital certification with electronic signature and online validation). In its FAQ the same post answers whether Unieducar is a good option with "a Unieducar é credenciada pelo MEC" (Unieducar is accredited by the MEC). These are the company's own claims; a buyer relying on a certificate for promotion or leave should check it against the rules of their own agency.
Teachers, support and accessibility
The homepage presents its teachers under "Nossos professores", including Marcia Antonia Dias Catunda, with a master's in applied computing, Erik Brasil, an administrator and business educator, and Isabela Martins de Almeida Calandrini, and describes its courses, seminars and lectures as "autorais" (original, written in-house). The institutional menu lists a teaching staff, a body of tutors and a flipped classroom page.
Support runs through an FAQ, a support ticket and an online chat for logged-in users, plus an email address and a toll-free phone line. The site header offers Libras and Dosvox options for accessibility.
For schools, HR teams and public bodies
Beyond individual learners, the footer lists three solutions: an e-learning platform for schools and colleges, PROQUALIS, a continuing qualification program for public servants, and solutions for human resources teams. The homepage describes them no further. A "Solicitação de Novo Curso" page lets users request a new course.
Associations and track record
The footer says Unieducar is associated with ABED, CRA-CE, IELA and the UN Global Compact, and states that it offsets its greenhouse gas emissions and supports a social project, Seed Surf Escola. The homepage shows learner testimonials from across Brazil: a sales consultant in Tocantins calls it "Simplesmente, excelente...", a student in Salvador says the Gestor de Treinamento course material is "curto, porém objetivo" (short but to the point), and a teacher in Rio de Janeiro says she liked the courses and asks to be emailed about more in education.
Who it suits
Unieducar suits a Brazilian public servant who needs a certificate with a chosen number of hours for Licença Capacitação or promotion, a university student collecting hours for complementary activities, and a professional in accounting, law, real estate or administration who wants short, self-contained courses in Portuguese. Free micro courses give a way to try the platform at no cost.
It suits less anyone outside Brazil or without Portuguese, since the catalog is built around Brazilian law, exams and public-service rules. Learners who want current software skills should check versions, as several IT titles teach older releases. Anyone relying on a certificate for a formal purpose should confirm with their own HR department that it meets the rules.
