Umio.to

Tap a star to rate

Umio.to is a Polish-language training platform for professional and personal development, aimed at individual learners who want short practical courses and at companies training their staff. Its homepage headline promises training "w przystępnej, angażującej formie, dopasowane do Twoich potrzeb i czasu" (in an accessible, engaging form, matched to your needs and your time). The site claims "6 000+ szkoleń" (6,000+ trainings), "900 000+ uczestników" (900,000+ participants) and "20+ lat doświadczenia" (20+ years of experience). The whole interface, course titles and descriptions are in Polish, so this is a platform for Polish speakers. The footer names the platform "Nowa Platforma Polskiej Fundacji Przedsiębiorczości" (the new platform of the Polish Entrepreneurship Foundation).

What the catalog covers

The homepage organizes training into eight categories: soft skills and personal development (Umiejętności miękkie i rozwój osobisty), law and regulations, IT and business applications, marketing and social media, management and leadership, finance and accounting, sales and customer service, and foreign languages.

The popular list on the homepage shows the kind of course on offer. Every one of these is an e-learning title, shown with its running time and an average rating:

  • Excel: Podstawy, Część 1 (Excel basics, part 1), 2 hours 9 minutes, rated 4.9
  • Wywieranie wpływu, manipulacja i gry psychologiczne (influence, manipulation and psychological games), 41 minutes, rated 4.86
  • Rachunkowość: Część 1, Wstęp (accounting, part 1, introduction), 1 hour 25 minutes, rated 4.91
  • Jak rozwinąć biznesowe konto na Instagramie? (how to grow a business Instagram account), 1 hour 30 minutes, rated 4.82
  • Komunikacja interpersonalna i jej znaczenie w pracy zespołowej (interpersonal communication in teamwork), 28 minutes, rated 4.86
  • Excel dla średnio zaawansowanych: Część 1 (intermediate Excel, part 1), 2 hours 9 minutes, rated 4.86
  • an introduction to Copilot in the artificial intelligence (Sztuczna inteligencja) series, 48 minutes, rated 4.8
  • 5 funkcji Excela, które musisz znać przed rozmową o pracę (five Excel functions to know before a job interview), 14 minutes, rated 4.93

So the e-learning side runs from a quick 14-minute lesson to multi-part courses of around two hours per part, with Excel, accounting, communication and social media prominent.

Formats: live, recorded and self-paced

The platform lists six formats: live training (Szkolenia na żywo), courses, webinars, recordings, e-learning and educational programs. The homepage explains the split plainly: taking part live lets you interact with trainers and other participants, while e-learning lets you study at any time and from anywhere.

Live sessions run on fixed dates and times. The homepage shows upcoming examples: an Excel session on efficient work and automating everyday tasks on Monday 12 October 2026, two hours in the morning, a session on creating content audiences will love on 8 October, a session on Canva Code for building mini-apps from prompts on 28 October, and a beginners' session on making graphics in Canva on 5 November. Each carries its own rating, between 4.82 and 4.9.

The FAQ explains how to find a course: browse by category from the top left of the page, pick a format, or open the full list and use the filters on the left, for example by difficulty level or by date.

The PRO package

Umio.to sells a PRO package for people who cannot always attend live. The homepage lists three things it adds:

  • access to recordings of live training for a set period after each session ends ("przez 14 dni od ich zakończenia")
  • access to recordings of sessions that were fully booked
  • access to dedicated PRO training

The FAQ adds that PRO gives this time-limited access to online training recordings whether or not you attended the event, plus a wider set of courses you can use at any hour of the day or night. A learner who misses a live session is pointed to PRO for access to recordings, e-learning and courses independent of attendance. A newsletter sign-up mentions a current promotion on buying the PRO package. There is also a separate PRO package for companies.

Diplomas, profiles and CVs

The FAQ says participants in online training receive a diploma confirming participation ("dyplom potwierdzający uczestnictwo"). Two conditions apply: you must stay logged in to the online session for at least 75% of its duration, and you must fill in a mandatory survey within 3 days of the training ending. Miss either and the diploma is not released.

Beyond single courses, the platform has a career side. Learners can build a professional profile, collect achievements and generate a CV. The FAQ describes the CV builder: create a participant account, fill in the CV wizard, and the platform produces a CV in a few seconds for you to download. The Career menu also lists a development path (Ścieżka rozwoju) and job offers.

Trainers

The homepage says courses are led by qualified trainers, and the FAQ calls them carefully selected experts ("skrupulatnie dobranych ekspertów"). It names four trainers with their own organizations: Monika Bezak of Centrum Rozwoju Mindloop, Karolina Botor of Pani Buduje Karierę, Piotr Majkowski of COGITOR, and Weronika Modzelewska of Przystanek Internet. A "Zostań trenerem" (become a trainer) section invites experts to join, teach and build their own profile.

For companies

The Dla firm (for companies) section says the platform supports businesses with education and financial support, hiring specialists, and employee training. Firms can post a job ad and hire a specialist, explore training on running a business, and order training for their employees. The footer lists a start page for companies, the company PRO package and a list of service providers.

What participants say

The homepage shows three five-star reviews. Zofia Szybowska of DekoGrafia says she attended both in person and online, that a few hours give a lot of knowledge, advice and answers, that exercises get people thinking and working as a group, and that "po zajęciach otrzymujemy materiały" (after the classes we receive materials). Kamila Budzyńska praises knowledge passed on in a complete but simple way, with theory and practice discussed on the examples of participants' own firms. Jarosław Ziajka says he has attended many times, at the organizer's premises and online, and recommends the training both to people starting a business and to owners raising their own and their employees' skills.

Prices

The homepage shows no course prices and no price for the PRO package; it offers a "Kup Pakiet PRO" (buy the PRO package) button instead.

Who it suits

Umio.to suits a Polish-speaking professional who wants short, practical courses on everyday work skills: Excel, accounting basics, communication, Instagram for business, Canva, an introduction to Copilot. Someone who learns best with a trainer can book live sessions and earn a participation diploma by attending most of the session and filling in the survey on time; someone with a busy schedule can stick to e-learning or add PRO to catch up on recordings after a session. Small business owners and employers will find training for staff, job ads and hiring support in the same place.

It does not suit anyone who does not read Polish, or anyone who needs an accredited qualification, since the site describes a diploma confirming participation rather than a formal credential. Buyers who want to compare prices before signing up will need to go past the homepage to find them.
