Нетология
Tap a star to rate
Netology (Нетология) is a Russian-language online school for adults who want to change profession or grow in the one they have. Its home page says "1,5 млн человек выбрали курсы Нетологии для достижения своих целей" (1.5 million people have chosen Netology courses to reach their goals). The About page lists four things it helps with: mastering a new specialty, developing in a current profession, running a business and training employees. The school teaches under a state education license, and the contact block gives an office address in Moscow, on Varshavskoe Shosse, with a copyright line running from 2011 to 2026. The reader is a learner choosing a long, supported program, though the site also has sections for corporate training, partner employers and degree programs run with universities.
What the catalog covers
The course catalog on the home page is organized by field, each with its course count: programming (47 courses), analytics (38), design and UX (35), business and management (50), marketing (29), finance and investing (15), health (18), neural networks (8), marketplaces (7) and psychology (4). The menu adds team management, creative professions, careers in education, computer games, an online college, programs with universities and courses for nonprofits.
Collections group courses by goal: neural networks for work, neural networks for everyday life, remote work, building websites, self-development, freelancing, digital work, selling on marketplaces, growth in a profession, working for yourself, creative careers and a start in game development.
The site lets learners choose between mastering a profession (освоить профессию), mastering skills (освоить навыки) or deciding on a profession first, and offers a quick consultation and a free questionnaire after which, the home page says, Netology's neural network recommends a profession.
AI programs and prices
The AI courses page shows how Netology prices its programs: each course card gives a duration, a start date, a discounted price and the full price beside it. A few examples:

Many long professions now come bundled with an AI module, such as Python developer, DevOps engineer, Java developer, data analyst, interior designer and video editor programs each paired with a neural networks course. Two AI programs are run with universities: an AI project lead program with МФТИ (MIPT) and an AI developer program with МТУСИ (MTUSI). The page also carries a promo code for an extra 10% off all neural network courses, and several short courses on it show no price, including a five-day introductory course on neural networks for everyone and one-day courses on AI for doctors. Separately, the free section lists free courses, demo access to introductory courses in graphic design, 1C programming, software testing and AI, and free webinars, such as one on how AI is changing marketing.
How the learning works
The About page describes the method in three parts. A large team of authors, methodologists, producers, teachers, marketers and editors builds each course, following market trends. The school helps each student set expectations and choose a study path, and students get feedback from experts and swap experience with peers. Then it supports them to the end: "Наши кураторы, эксперты и аспиранты не дают студентам сойти с дистанции" (our curators, experts and graduate assistants do not let students drop out), and it helps with employment, from building a portfolio and writing a CV to passing an interview, with top students doing internships at partner companies.
The platform itself has a planner, a calendar, games and practice trainers, plus a mobile app on Google Play, RuStore and the App Store, with an APK download as well. The home page promises quick contact with teachers, coordinators, graduate assistants and technical staff, live sessions with experts to discuss hard topics, and practice from partner companies in the form of business games, meetups, hackathons and pet projects.
Credentials and the tax deduction
The About page states: "Выпускники получают официальный документ установленного образца: удостоверение о повышении квалификации или диплом о профессиональной переподготовке" (graduates receive an official document of the established form, a certificate of professional development or a diploma of professional retraining). It adds that after studying, a learner can apply for a tax deduction and get part of the course fee back. The free section includes open days for bachelor's and master's programs run with the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis and consultations on entrance tests for programs with the Financial University.
Careers and community
The Career Development Center (Центр развития карьеры) works with employers, offering them interns, staff or freelancers from Netology's best students and graduates in analytics, programming, marketing, design and management. It handles posting the role, screening CVs, setting test tasks and replying to every applicant. The partnership page reports that 62% of partners come back with new practice activities, that more than 18,000 people are in Netology's job exchange on Telegram, that partners rate the cooperation 4.7 out of 5, and that more than 300 practice activities were run with partners in 2025. The home page says 4,000 partners have offered practice and job offers to its top students, and that support is rated 4.88 out of 5 in a survey of 200,000 students.
Students and graduates of paid programs can join communities by field: medicine, Edmarket for online education, design, business and product, marketing, analytics and data science, a career club, and communities for bachelor's and master's students. The community page lists meetups, networking, informal talks with experts, online and offline events, discounts on programs, and competitions, internships, hackathons and vacancies from partners. Access stays open after graduation for as long as a member wants.
Who it suits
Netology suits Russian-speaking adults ready to commit months to a career change in IT, analytics, design or marketing, who want a structured program with curators, practice projects, a state-format certificate or diploma and career help at the end. Its short AI courses suit working professionals who want to add AI tools to a job they already have, and its free introductory courses let a beginner test a field before paying. Employers can use the Career Development Center to find interns or staff.
It suits less well anyone who does not study in Russian, and the longer programs are a large investment even at the discounted prices shown. Learners should read each course card closely, since the gap between the discounted and full prices is wide and depends on the start date.
