LEAD Academy

LEAD Academy is an online course platform from Bangladesh that sells recorded courses, live batches, bundles and a subscription to its whole library, in English and Bengali. It is mainly a learner product, with an instructor program, an affiliate program and a white-label offer for organizations alongside. The home page describes the mission as helping "employers and learners build career-connected experiences at scale, from structured courses to virtual job simulations, eligibility scores, and hiring-ready talents." The footer names the operator as Lead Academy PTE, gives "License No. 283870", lists a head office in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, and signs off "Made in Bangladesh", with a copyright running from 2021.

The catalog

The learner page claims "Courses 1000+" and "Our Active Students 10k+". The course menu is organized into seventeen categories: Sales and Marketing, Islamic Lifestyle, Technology and Programming, Creative Arts and Design, Digital Marketing, Tax, Finance and Accounting, Language and Communication, Microsoft Office Tools, Business and Entrepreneurship, Health and Wellness, Creative Hobbies and Interests, Education and Exam Prep, Specialized Career Track, AI and Machine Learning, HR and Workplace Training, Career Growth, and RMG Sector (the ready-made garment industry).

Some of the course titles show how local the catalog is. The RMG Sector has courses on supply chain in RMG, total quality management, apparel merchandising and HR in the RMG sector, and the design list includes CLO 3D for garment and fashion design. Islamic Lifestyle covers complete namaz learning, preparation for Hajj and Umrah, easy Quran learning, Islamic finance modeling and halal marketing. Education and Exam Prep has IBA-MBA admission preparation and GRE prep. Language courses include Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and French for beginners, intensive IELTS preparation, business English, spoken English and sign language. Technology runs from AutoCAD, Python, MATLAB and Flutter to cloud computing, ethical hacking and full stack web development, and the AI category has Mastering ChatGPT, natural language processing, machine learning basics with Python, and robotics and IoT. Career tracks include voice art, news presentation, journalism, and a study and career guideline for people with visual impairment.

Prices

Course cards on the catalog page show prices in taka (৳), usually a sale price beside a higher original price, plus the course length. Examples:

The catalog filters split courses into Live Courses, Recorded Courses, Bundle Courses, Free Courses, Subscription and Cluster Courses. The menu also lists an Offline Training Program and MaestroClass, a masterclass format whose featured title is a masterclass in design thinking, innovation and creativity.

The subscription

The learner page describes a "Subscription based model with one flat fee to access all courses & individual course purchase option." The FAQ spells out what a subscription includes: "access to all our courses, unlimited watch time, Certification on completion of Course", plus the chance to connect with instructors and fellow learners, take part in forum activities, and share a profile and projects. Monthly subscriptions run one month from the date of purchase and yearly ones one year. The subscription prices themselves sit on a separate packages page that the FAQ links to. Two terms matter before buying: the FAQ states "There is no refund on subscription", and LEAD Academy can cancel a subscription at any time if its disciplinary rules are broken.

How courses work

The FAQ says courses are on demand, can be started whenever the learner likes, and run on desktop, laptop and mobile phone, with an app to download. Learners can enroll in free courses, subscribe to everything, or buy a course on its own, and every course can be previewed first. Each course "is created and managed by the instructor(s)", built from lectures that can include video, slides and text, with resources, practice activities and quizzes added by the instructor. There are "no deadlines to begin or complete the course if not set otherwise by the instructors", and learners keep access after finishing as long as their account is in good standing and LEAD Academy still holds a license to the course.

The learner page lists the study tools: "ask your teacher, take notes, whiteboard", interactive content, live discussions, webinars, blogs and forums, and a "dynamic profile with skills mapping for future job market & recruitment." During a course, questions go to a Q&A section or to the instructor.

Certificates and partnerships

Certificates are "only provided on full completion of course" and appear on the student dashboard for viewing and download within 72 hours. Asked about accreditation, the FAQ answers that LEAD Academy offers courses "in collaboration with Pearson- world's largest education company, and in partnership with a2i, Cabinet Division, ICT Division and UNDP." The learner page adds that courses are made by "industry experts & renowned academic institutions, via our rigorous quality assurance system", and that some social and national-interest courses are run "in partnership with Govt & NGOs", inviting learners to "be part of vision 2041". The FAQ names no body that accredits the certificates themselves.

AI tools and career features

The navigation carries several career tools: AI Job Simulations, an AI Chatbot and an AI Readiness check (both marked "Try me"), a "Chat with Our Career AI" button, and the Yareta Behavioral Assessment. The home page's "Strength in Numbers" block tracks registrants, courses, certifications and course languages.

Paying, teaching and organizations

The FAQ says payment runs through "SSLcommerz payment methods that include all major debit and credit cards, Bkash, Nagad, etc." Sign-up takes a name, mobile number and email, with OTP verification.

People who want to teach can join as instructors through a separate sign-in, and anyone can "Become an affiliate for free and earn money by promoting LEAD Academy." There is also a Campus Ambassador program. For organizations, the FAQ answers: "White Label your organization and make our platform your own!", and the menu has an Enterprise section with packages for organizations; prices for these are not on the pages.

Support

Support runs through two hotlines, the support email address on the FAQ page, a help center with troubleshooting articles, and a contact form. The site has English and Bengali versions.

Who it suits

LEAD Academy suits a learner in Bangladesh who wants low-priced, self-paced courses in taka, from Quran study and IELTS to Python, garment-industry skills and digital marketing, with a completion certificate and a choice between buying single courses or subscribing. It suits an organization that wants a white-label learning platform from a local provider. It suits less well a learner who wants a refund option on a subscription, or a certificate with a named external accreditation.
