Kultivi

Kultivi is a Brazilian online learning platform that offers recorded video courses free of charge, with lifetime access and a free certificate of completion. It is a learner product, in Portuguese, and its home page states the mission as "Somos uma Edtech com a missão de levar ensino online gratuito, de qualidade, sempre. Para qualquer pessoa, em qualquer lugar." (We are an edtech with the mission of bringing free, quality online teaching, always, to anyone, anywhere.) The company behind it is registered as "Kultivi - Produção e Edição de Conteúdo LTDA", and the home page says it has been doing this "Desde 2017" (since 2017). Its media section calls Kultivi "o maior portal de educação gratuita do Brasil" (the largest free education portal in Brazil), in the company's own words.

Scale

The home page gives three figures: "+5M Alunos estão estudando na plataforma Kultivi" (more than 5 million students studying on the platform), "+500 mil" students subscribed to its YouTube channel, and "+5 mil Aulas disponíveis para você estudar gratuitamente" (more than 5,000 lessons available to study for free).

What learners can study

The home page sums up the catalog as "Estude idiomas, prepare-se para concursos públicos, OAB, Enem e áreas de desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional" (study languages, prepare for civil service exams, the OAB bar exam, ENEM, and areas of personal and professional development). The footer menu lists the courses by area:

• Concursos (civil service exams): civil, constitutional, administrative, criminal procedure, consumer and environmental law, Portuguese for exams, logical reasoning, IT for exams, essay writing for exams, labor reform, ethics in public service, and tracks aimed at specific exams such as court technician posts and state military police soldier and cadet entries.
• ENEM: a complete ENEM course plus chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics, sociology, physics, history, literature, philosophy, Spanish, English and essay writing for the exam, and study-skills courses on summaries, mind maps and study schedules.
• OAB: the first phase of the bar exam, second-phase civil and criminal practice, and individual subjects from professional ethics and international law to tax and electoral law.
• Languages (Idiomas): French, Spanish and English at several levels, Italian from basic to advanced, German basic and intermediate, introductions to Korean and Japanese, Libras (Brazilian Sign Language), English for flight attendants, for healthcare and for logistics, and listening practice.
• Careers and business: coaching for entrepreneurs, digital marketing fundamentals, Facebook and Instagram ads, Excel dashboards, Power BI, AutoCAD, time management, public speaking, employer branding, purchasing, the safety standards NR06, NR10, NR12 and NR35, WhatsApp sales and business planning.
• Health, technology and personal development: nutrition, swimming with Marcelo Chierighini, a Revalida course on Brazil's public health system, WordPress, ChatGPT and AI, data protection under the LGPD, SQL for data analysis, study techniques, emotional intelligence, personal finance and productivity.

Example courses

Each course page shows the same summary line: free with lifetime access, a free certificate, the number of lessons, the hours of content and the number of students. Five examples:

• Coaching para Empreendedores: 10 lessons, 03h:42m of content, 42,706 students. It is taught by Fábio Bastazini, presented as a coach and speaker with 13 years in sales, a degree in sales management, Professional and Self Coach training from the Instituto Brasileiro de Coaching, and a Dale Carnegie course. The course works on focus, planning, action, continuous improvement and results, and the page asks learners to download the support materials and do the exercises.
• Como Montar um Plano de Negócios: 28 lessons, 04h:20m, 591 students, from business plan basics through market, audience and competitor analysis to presenting the plan to investors and lenders.
• Planejamento Operacional em Logística: 24 lessons, 03h:50m, 629 students, covering operational planning, inventory management, transport and warehouse efficiency.
• Como Criar Conteúdo para Stories no Instagram: 30 lessons, 05h:45m, 127 students, on planning stories with polls, question boxes and quizzes rather than posting without a strategy.

The newer career courses list Kultivi itself as the teacher, while courses such as the coaching course and the languages are taught by named instructors.

How studying works

The home page lists three benefits: "Cursos gratuitos com acesso vitalício" (free courses with lifetime access), "Questionários para fixação" (quizzes to reinforce learning) and "Certificado gratuito ao final dos estudos" (a free certificate at the end of your studies). The coaching course page says that, like Kultivi's other free courses, its lessons are recorded "possibilitando ser assistido onde e quando quiser" (so they can be watched wherever and whenever you like). Learners can download free support material that accompanies the video lessons, and the home page mentions practical exercises and technical support. Registration is free, and the home page tells learners "você pode estudar quantos cursos quiser, sem pagar mensalidade" (you can study as many courses as you want without paying a monthly fee).

Testimonials on the home page add detail about the language courses: one learner studying Italian says the teacher helps students practice in a Telegram group, another praises the French classes with teacher Thais, and a third says she started classes with Rui in January and felt she had broken through by February.

Certificates

Every course ends in a "certificado de conclusão" (certificate of completion), which the home page says adds value to the learner's résumé. The footer links a page to validate a certificate. The pages describe it as a completion certificate from Kultivi and do not tie it to any outside body or academic credit.

Other services

Beyond the free courses, the footer lists a Loja (shop), Ebooks, a student ID card, a help center and a payment policy. Course pages promote the Documento Nacional de Estudante: "Quem é aluno da Kultivi tem direito à meia-entrada!" (Kultivi students are entitled to half-price entry), with a link to request the card. The home page also invites teachers, partners, sponsors and investors to get in touch by email.

Who it suits

Kultivi suits a Portuguese-speaking learner in Brazil who wants free, self-paced preparation for civil service exams, the OAB or ENEM, free language courses with a community around them, or short career courses, with a certificate of completion at no cost and no deadline. It suits less well someone who needs a recognized qualification, live teaching, or courses in a language other than Portuguese.
