Kelas.work

Tap a star to rate

Kelas.work is an Indonesian online course platform aimed at work and careers: administration, IT, human resources, accounting and tax, preparation for civil service (CPNS) and state-owned enterprise (BUMN) recruitment tests, and TOEFL preparation. It describes itself as "platform edukasi online dimana kamu bisa belajar dari para mentor profesional di bidangnya" (an online education platform where you can learn from professional mentors in their field). It is mainly a learner product, sold class by class or by subscription, with a separate offer for companies and a program for mentors who want to sell their own video courses. The site is in Indonesian.

How it relates to Kelas.com

Kelas.work sits in the same family as Kelas.com. Its navigation has a "Kelas Hub" menu that links to Kelas.com and Bootcamp, and its product list in the footer names Kelas.com, Bootcamp, Kelas for Business, Webinar and a CV-writing service side by side. Kelas.work's own pages are organized around job skills, recruitment tests and career preparation rather than around individual celebrity mentors.

The catalog

The home page headline invites learners to start "dari kelas Administrasi, kelas IT, kelas CPNS, hingga kelas Persiapan TOEFL" (from administration and IT classes to CPNS classes and TOEFL preparation). A second headline promises "Lebih dari 200 Pilihan Kelas" (more than 200 classes to choose from).

Test and recruitment preparation is a major strand. A section titled "Persiapan Rekrutmen Bersama BUMN" invites learners to "Raih impian berkerja di BUMN dengan mengikuti rangkaian kelas ini!" (reach your dream of working at a state-owned enterprise by following this series of classes). Another, "Persiapkan Karir & Tes Kamu Sekarang", offers thorough test preparation to support a professional career. Together with the CPNS and TOEFL classes, this is what puts Kelas.work in the test prep and government exam categories.

Learning Paths group classes into a directed sequence for one field. The two named on the home page are Fullstack Human Resources and Fullstack Akuntansi & Perpajakan (accounting and tax). The HR path is presented with "Peluang Kerja 10.000+" (10,000+ job openings) and "Range Gaji 7-10 juta" (a salary range of 7 to 10 million rupiah), followed by the line "Kuasai strategi kelola karyawan unggulan melalui program pelatihan HR terlengkap" (master the strategy of managing top employees through the most complete HR training program). Those two figures are the site's description of the field, not a placement record for its learners.

Format

Classes are recorded video in HD, available "kapanpun dan dimanapun" (any time, anywhere). The home page also promotes "Kelas Interaktif", interactive classes with "mentor yang siap menjawab di kelas pilihanmu" (mentors ready to answer in the class you choose). Live webinars run alongside the recorded classes under the banner "Upgrade Skill Terbarumu Dengan Mengikuti Live Webinar Bersama Mentor Profesional!" (upgrade your skills by joining live webinars with professional mentors). The footer adds a certificate verification page and a CV-writing service (Pembuatan CV), and the site runs a free career aptitude test: "Pilih karier yang tepat lewat tes minat bakat, gratis!" (choose the right career with a free aptitude and interest test).

Prices and subscription

Individual classes can be bought on their own, and the FAQ covers how to buy a class and how to use a voucher code. A flash sale with a countdown timer appears on the home page, next to a "Rekomendasi Untukmu" (recommended for you) row of classes.

The subscription is presented as the cheaper route ("Lebih Hemat dengan Berlangganan"). The home page lists what it includes:

  • "Akses lebih dari 100+ Kelas dengan berbagai kategori (kecuali kelas premium)" (access to more than 100 classes across categories, except premium classes);
  • free learning modules and certificates;
  • access any time and anywhere;
  • HD video;
  • "Bebas berhenti berlangganan kapan saja" (cancel the subscription at any time).

The home page asks learners to pick the subscription package that suits them but shows no package names or prices. Sign-in works with a Google account or an email address, and the FAQ section on the home page starts with three guides: how to register an account, how to buy a class, and how to use a voucher code.

Kelas for Business

For employers, the site offers Kelas for Business: "Tingkatkan Pelatihan Karyawan Anda dengan Kelas for Business! Untuk Anda yang ingin mengembangkan keterampilan dan produktivitas karyawan" (improve your employee training with Kelas for Business, for those who want to develop employee skills and productivity). The call to action is a consultation. The home page also says the platform is "Dipercaya Lebih Dari 100+ Perusahaan Ternama di Indonesia" (trusted by more than 100 well-known companies in Indonesia).

The company's blog supports this side with articles for HR teams, such as a long explainer on how a learning management system works and where companies use one, from onboarding and compliance training to career development. It walks through the readers an LMS serves (corporate trainers, small businesses, schools, nonprofit program managers and government agencies), the benefits it claims for each (central learning, lower cost and time, consistent training, tracking and reporting, better employee performance) and ten ways companies apply one, including performance management, knowledge sharing, personalized learning and remote access. That article ends by recommending the Bootcamp Human Resources on Kelas.com, which it describes as simulation-based rather than theory alone, with an HR community and job opportunities through a Career Navigator.

For mentors

Kelas.work recruits teachers with a "Jadi Mentor" program that lists three benefits: "Jual konten videomu dan raihlah pendapatan hingga jutaan rupiah setiap bulan!" (sell your video content and earn up to millions of rupiah every month), access to up-to-date learning facilities, and membership in what it calls the largest teaching community in Indonesia. The site does not set out the revenue share.

Support

Customer service runs Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 18.00 by phone and email, with an FAQ and a help center covering registration, purchases and vouchers.

Who it suits

Kelas.work suits an Indonesian job seeker preparing for BUMN or CPNS recruitment tests or TOEFL, and an early-career worker who wants a structured HR or accounting and tax path with a certificate, either by buying single classes or by subscribing to the 100+ class library. It suits an Indonesian company that wants ready-made Indonesian-language training for staff and is willing to start with a consultation. It suits less well someone who needs published package prices before signing up, or courses in a language other than Indonesian.
