Tap a star to rate
Collab365 is an online course library for people who want to use AI, automation and Microsoft workplace tools better in their jobs. Its homepage headline is "AI is changing work. We’ll help you adapt." and it offers practical courses in AI, automation, Microsoft 365 and digital business, taken at your own pace. It sells to individuals and to teams. The company, Collab365 Limited, gives its address in Telford, Shropshire, in the UK, and is led by Mark and Helen Jones.
The site says Collab365 has been helping people learn since 2013. Before the current Spaces platform it ran global virtual conferences and an online Academy: the homepage counts 120,000+ conference attendances across the 20 virtual conferences it ran, and 18,000 registrations in the former Academy. It also says Microsoft announced Power Apps at one of its virtual conferences, streamed live from Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond.
Spaces and what they cover
Everything is organized into subject areas the company calls Spaces. A Space brings together courses, practical resources and Pulse updates for one subject, with discussions and comments alongside. The homepage lists eight, with their course counts:
- AI at work: prompts, research and practical AI skills, 17 courses
- Starting a digital business: ideas, offers, marketing and sales, 12 courses
- Microsoft 365: files, tasks, meetings and everyday work, 12 courses
- Power BI: reports, data models and useful insights, 12 courses
- Power Automate: flows, approvals and automation, 10 courses
- Power Apps: app building, data and design, 17 courses
- SharePoint & Teams: the foundations, sharing and admin, 13 courses
- Microsoft Copilot: Copilot in the apps you use every day, 13 courses
The featured course is the AI Authority System, an intermediate course of 22 lessons in video and reading, in three parts: Foundations and Confidence, Professional Tools and Integration, and Personal AI Mastery and Your Transformation Plan. Other starting courses show the range and the size of each: Validate a SaaS Idea Before You Build It (intermediate, 7 lessons), Choose the Right Microsoft 365 Tool for Everyday Work (beginner, 11 lessons), the Power BI Foundation Microcourse (beginner, 9 lessons), Power Automate JumpStart (beginner, 12 lessons), Test Your Power App Before You Share It (beginner, 7 lessons), Understand SharePoint in 20 Minutes (beginner, 12 lessons) and Get Microsoft 365 Copilot Working in Your Real Life (beginner, 13 lessons).
The FAQ says the catalog includes video lessons, written lessons and a mix of both, and that some courses follow a practical build challenge. Each course shows its format, level and an outline of lessons and materials. Some courses need a tool or license such as Microsoft 365, Power Apps or an AI account, which the learner pays for separately.
Learning Boards and Blueprints
Collab365 separates courses, which build a skill, from Learning Boards, which guide a learner through a project. A Board puts relevant courses, Blueprints and other resources in a suggested order so you can follow a project and track your progress. A Blueprint is a researched set of instructions you use with your own AI to tackle a task, setting out the steps, information needed, decisions and checks; you adapt it and review the work as you go.
The example on the homepage is the Inbox Board in the AI Authority Space, "Get Your Inbox Under Control with AI". A short course connects your email to your AI, its Blueprint gives the AI researched instructions for the setup, and a final check helps you review the daily routine. It works with Gmail or work Microsoft 365 Outlook and your own AI tool, and an optional Outlook course covers the route without an AI connection.
Pulse, the Vault and the community
Every Space has a Pulse feed of short updates that explain what has changed in the subject, why it matters for your work and what to consider next. A free Pulse newsletter sends a selection by email. The Microsoft 365 and Power Platform Spaces also include the Vault, an archive of earlier Collab365 Academy videos, workshops, conference recordings and saved resources; what it holds depends on the Space.
Members can ask questions and compare approaches in a discussion forum and leave comments on courses, lessons and Blueprints. During the trial you can read discussions in your chosen Spaces, but posting needs paid access to that Space.
Ways to buy, and the trial
The FAQ sets out three ways to pay. Buying a Space is a one-time payment for lifetime access to an eligible Space and its included courses and resources. A Board Learning Pass gives access to one guided project and its listed supporting Spaces for the period shown on the offer. All-Access is a recurring subscription to the included Spaces and every Official Board, and can be canceled anytime. Courses are not sold separately. The homepage gives no figures; each offer shows its price, what is included and how long access lasts before you pay, and the site links to a pricing page.
The free trial is 7 days in up to 2 Spaces, with no credit card required: create an account, verify your email and pick your first Space. When it ends nothing is charged, and you decide whether to buy. The refund answer points to that trial and to separate refund terms.
For teams
For colleagues, Collab365 offers Spaces for teams with shared learning paths and progress reporting. The footer links to a Team Initial Setup Guide, a Team Management Guide and a Team Boards Guide. The site does not list team prices on the homepage.
Reviews and support
The homepage shows a Google rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 11 reviews and a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 14 reviews. One Trustpilot review from Steve Morley, a Collab365 Academy member, says, "They operate by providing learning in manageable chunks, using real world examples in easy to understand teaching methods." Questions go through an "Ask us" link and a contact page, and the site publishes a Questions and Answers section and a research method page.
The blog covers practical comparisons for Microsoft users, such as a guide to choosing between Microsoft Forms and Typeform for online forms.
Who it suits
Collab365 suits office workers, analysts and Microsoft 365 power users who want to get more from Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams and Copilot, and anyone who wants a structured way to bring AI into daily work without starting from code. The one-time Space purchase suits a learner with one subject in mind, the Board pass suits someone with one project to finish, and All-Access suits someone working across several tools. Teams that roll out Microsoft tools can use shared paths and progress reporting.
It is a narrower fit for learners who want a general catalog of soft skills or academic subjects, since the Spaces center on AI, Microsoft tools and starting a digital business. For its own subjects it offers short, practical courses tied to real tasks.
