Altkom Akademia is a Polish training company, Altkom Akademia S.A., whose site gives its address as ul. Chłodna 51 in Warsaw. It sells IT and business courses to individual professionals and to companies training whole teams, delivered as classroom sessions, live online classes in a virtual classroom, vendor exam preparation, and a self-paced e-learning platform. The "about" section on the homepage says more than 650 thousand trainees have used its offer so far and that it works with over 300 trainers who are experts in their fields. It also says that, thanks to high training standards, it has held first places in training-industry rankings without a break since 1999. The site runs in Polish, with an English version linked from the header.
The course catalog
The catalog is organized by subject area, and the menus print a course count for each one. IT languages and tools hold 147 courses, including 24 in Python, 19 in Java, 17 in JavaScript, 34 in Microsoft SQL, 12 in .NET and C#, and smaller groups for RPA, VBA and containerization. Office applications hold 133 courses, led by 58 Excel courses and 32 for Microsoft 365, with Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Project, Access, Visio and Teams also covered.
Infrastructure and vendor tracks are just as deep. The operating systems and servers area lists 253 courses, with 64 for Cisco, 33 for Linux and 22 for PowerShell, and the Azure area lists 51 courses, 39 of them on the Azure Administrator path. Business applications hold 431 courses, and SAP alone accounts for 336 of them, alongside business intelligence, Power Platform, Power Automate, PowerApps and SAS.
On the business side, the menus list 625 courses. Project management and processes is the largest group with 234 courses, followed by management competencies (149), digital marketing (153) and personal development (121). Smaller groups cover public administration and cultural institutions, HR, finance, law and ISO standards, sales and negotiation, ESG, wellbeing and mental health, and business simulations. Agile approaches have their own area of 86 courses spanning Agile, Scrum, Kanban and SAFe, and graphics has 25 courses across Adobe, AutoCAD and open-source tools.
AI runs through the whole offer. A dedicated artificial intelligence area lists 215 courses split into tracks such as AI Business (55), AI Development (47), AI Essentials (40), AI Security (30), AI Cloud (23) and AI Automatization (18). The data and AI area adds 56 courses on Microsoft Copilot, and AI modules also appear inside the marketing and project management groups. The homepage promotes open webinars on building an AI-ready organization and an online event, Altkom Innovation Stream, which it describes as running from 21 September to 15 October with close to 40 sessions on AI, technology and skills.
How the training is delivered
Altkom works in several formats. Open training courses can be bought by individuals, live classes run in a virtual classroom with its own login and rules, and companies can commission dedicated courses. The homepage carries a promotion saying that buyers of an open training course get access to e-learning included in the price.
The e-learning platform is the self-paced part. The homepage describes more than 60 in-house e-learning courses on Excel, Microsoft 365, project management, marketing and security, built from video, exercises and tests. A subscription, Altkom Club Premium, gives access to more than 130 online courses, which the site pitches as a way to learn exactly what you need.
The e-learning page explains how those courses work. Each course is split into modules and lessons, and lessons are broken into shorter segments; the page's example is a digital hygiene course whose three modules cover why technology pulls us in, how to put digital hygiene into practice, and how to keep it up. Materials mix video, reading, exercises and tests. Courses run around the clock on a computer, tablet or phone, start right after purchase or once access is granted, and need no technology of the buyer's own. For employers the page highlights progress tracking: a trainer can see which participants finished which modules, what they scored on tests and how fast they are working, for individuals and for groups.
VR training is offered for some topics. The homepage says VR lets a participant step into a realistic scenario, make a decision, see how the environment reacts and get immediate feedback.
Training built for one company
Custom work is a large part of the offer. The e-learning page describes dedicated courses designed for one client: a needs analysis, a program with defined goals and methods, delivery, and an evaluation afterwards. Finished courses can reach the client in three ways. The materials can be handed over directly, the course can be built to the SCORM standard and placed on the client's own e-learning platform, or it can run on Altkom's platform with access terms and duration agreed with the client. The page's examples include a sales course for a hardware maker and a project management program for a management team.
Exams, certificates and partners
Exams are a separate section of the menu, and the vendor tracks above prepare for them. The site names training areas for Broadcom, SAP and SAS, Microsoft course formats, and a DMI certificate, offered alongside a five-course Digital Marketing Institute group in the marketing catalog. The footer carries trademark notices for PMI, PMBOK, CAPM, PMP, ITIL and PRINCE2. A homepage news item says CompTIA named Altkom Akademia its Strategic Growth Partner of the Year in the CEE region. The menu also lists Speexx and Udemy Business among its offers, as well as postgraduate studies.
Funding and public sector work
Several homepage sections deal with paying for training. One points to courses funded through Poland's KFS training fund, another to support with EU grants, and another to local cybersecurity centers for municipalities. There are training areas for NIS2, for the education sector and for manufacturing, and the menu offers a training voucher.
Pricing and clients
Courses are bought through an online shop with its own account registration and cart; the homepage shows no list prices and no price for Altkom Club Premium. Client testimonials come from Orange Polska, Santander Consumer Bank, Ceneo.pl and Barry Callebaut SSC Europe. The Ceneo.pl reviewer writes "Potwierdzamy 100% zadowolenie z wykonania usługi" (confirming 100% satisfaction with the service) and praises the trainer's command of the material.
Who it suits
Altkom Akademia fits Polish companies that want one supplier for IT, business and AI training, from Excel basics to SAP and Cisco tracks, with the option of custom courses delivered as SCORM packages to their own platform. HR and L&D teams get progress tracking and grant-funded options. Individual professionals can book open courses or subscribe to Altkom Club Premium for self-paced study. The main caveat is language: the courses, testimonials and catalog are presented in Polish, so the offer is best suited to Polish-speaking learners and teams.
