What it is
QuizFlex AI is a browser-based AI quiz generator that turns teaching and study material into quizzes, flashcards, notes, worksheets and presentations. The homepage describes it as "a free AI-powered quiz maker that instantly generates quizzes from PDFs, YouTube videos, text, and voice notes in 30 languages," with auto-grading, printable worksheets, live quiz hosting and analytics. It is aimed at teachers in K-12 and higher education, students doing self-study and exam prep, corporate trainers, parents and tutors, and content creators. The footer names the company behind it as Chronodat, LLC.
The site's own counters read 50K+ quizzes created, 500K+ questions generated, 30 languages supported and 99.9% uptime, which the homepage labels "Uptime Guaranteed." There is a free plan and three paid tiers, and the site says no credit card is needed to sign up.
How a quiz gets made
The homepage sets out a three-step process. You upload content, paste text or "simply enter a topic"; the AI "analyzes your content using natural language processing" and writes the questions; then you take, share or export the quiz. The upload step lists "PDF, DOC, TXT, URLs, and direct text input," and a teachers section adds lesson slides and notes. The FAQ on creating a quiz from a PDF adds a settings step before generation, where you choose the number of questions, the difficulty and the question types, and it says you can edit the result afterwards.
Beyond files, three other inputs have their own features. The YouTube generator takes a video URL, extracts the transcript and writes questions from it, pitched at flipped classrooms and video-based learning. Voice to Quiz records voice notes, transcribes them and turns lectures, meetings or study sessions into notes and then quizzes. The study notes generator builds "organized, easy-to-read notes" from PDFs, text, images or videos. The online quiz maker page also describes "a drag-and-drop builder" for making quizzes by hand.
The AI writes "MCQ, true/false, and short answer questions," and the site counts 8+ question types overall. Flashcards come as Q&A cards, cloze deletions or multiple-choice cards, generated from quizzes, PDFs or text and scheduled with spaced repetition. The site also lists AI feedback on results with improvement suggestions, and a quiz interface with "progress tracking, timers, and gamification."
Assigning, sharing and grading
For teachers, the main route is a class. The homepage says you can "create a class, share the invite code, assign quizzes and flashcards, then review analytics," with "no student email list required." The Google Classroom and Google Forms integration exports a quiz to Google Forms with auto-grading and assigns it to a Classroom course in one click, with due dates, max points and the choice to publish or save as a draft. Students "can take quizzes without needing a QuizFlex account - just enter their name."
Other sharing options are a link, an embed code and a live session. The FAQ says the embed "renders responsively within an iframe" on a blog, LMS or website, and results flow back to the QuizFlex dashboard. Quizzes are responsive and run in a phone, tablet or laptop browser with no app to download. For timed tests, the FAQ says you can set a limit for the whole quiz or per question; students see a countdown, the quiz auto-submits when time runs out, and bookmarks let students flag questions to review.
Live hosting works through a session code. The FAQ says you click "Start Live Session," participants join at quizflex.ai/live, answer in real time and see live leaderboards while you control the pace. The same answer says it "Supports unlimited participants on Pro plan."
Grading is automatic for every quiz type, according to the FAQ. The analytics dashboard shows individual scores, class averages, score distributions, question-level performance, time spent per question and knowledge gap analysis, and results export to CSV or PDF for grade books. Corporate trainers are told they can track completion and scores across a team with exportable reports.
Exports and languages
Quizzes export as printable PDF or Word worksheets in three forms: questions only, a complete answer key, or a full study guide with explanations. The FAQ adds that you can customize formatting, add a school logo and print unlimited copies. Answer keys and study guides also export to JSON. The three-step guide names PowerPoint as an export format, and the integration section says quizzes export to "25+ LMS formats including Canvas, Moodle, Kahoot, Quizizz, and Microsoft Teams."
The 30 languages are listed in full: English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Telugu, Tamil, Albanian, Amharic, Armenian, Indonesian, Ukrainian, Bengali and Malay. The site says you can create and take quizzes in any of them, with "full dashboard localization with instant language switching."
Plans and prices
The pricing table has four plans, priced in USD:
- Free, $0 a month: AI quiz generator, 30 languages, flashcards and notes, worksheets, export and sharing, the full analytics dashboard, support requests, Google Classroom and Forms export, and 50K credits a month.
- Plus, $9 a month or $90 a year: everything in Free plus voice notes and transcription, essay-length notes and 2M credits a month.
- Elite, $18 a month or $172 a year, marked most popular: everything in Plus plus chat with AI on results, study groups and 5M credits a month.
- Pro, $29 a month or $290 a year: everything in Elite plus all question types, all export formats and worksheets, live quiz sessions, priority support and 20M credits a month.
Credits are the usage unit; the free plan FAQ calls them "50K credits of content processing each month." The pages are not fully consistent on what Free includes. The online quiz maker FAQ says the free plan has "all question types," and the homepage FAQ calls live hosting free, while the table lists all question types and live sessions under Pro. The table is the safer guide.
The pricing FAQ says you can cancel "with one click, no questions asked," that there are educational discounts for schools and universities on request, and that payment is by "All major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers for enterprise." Every plan is ad-free, including the free tier.
Support and compliance
Support runs through a request form and e-mail, with a separate sales and partnerships contact for enterprise plans. The contact block says "We typically respond within 24 hours" and gives hours of Mon-Fri, 9AM-5PM EST, while a stats strip on the same page reads "24/7 Always Available." The footer carries a "GDPR-ready" label and links for GDPR, data subject rights, Google Workspace Limited Use and a request form for a data processing agreement. A demo and custom pricing are offered through the contact form.
The site also bundles free teacher tools, among them an AI text detector, random student picker, grade calculator, citation generator, rubric generator, IEP goal writer, exit ticket maker and vocabulary list maker, plus a public quiz gallery and exam prep sections.
Who it suits
QuizFlex AI suits a teacher who already uses Google Classroom and wants a quiz from a PDF or slide deck without typing the questions, a student turning lecture notes into flashcards with spaced repetition, a tutor printing worksheets in one of 30 languages, and a trainer turning a policy document into a compliance check that exports to Moodle, Canvas or Microsoft Teams. The free plan is enough to try the whole loop of generating, assigning and grading.
It is a quiz and study-material generator, not a course platform or proctoring service: the pages describe no enrollment management, course delivery or exam security. Teachers who run live games at scale should note that live sessions and unlimited participants sit in the Pro plan.
