What ITS is

Internet Testing Systems (ITS) is an assessment technology company whose platform lets test owners "create, deliver, and manage tests." The home page describes its products as "AI-powered assessment solutions built for security, reliability, and flexibility so test owners can reach candidates anytime, anywhere." The site footer gives the company name as Internet Testing Systems, LLC.

The reader here is an organization that owns an exam, not a teacher setting a weekly quiz and not a course creator. ITS says its assessment solutions are "trusted by 50+ certifying organizations across the healthcare, IT, academic, and professional industries." The products cover the whole run of an exam program: writing and banking the questions, building and publishing tests, delivering them in person or remotely, proctoring them, and running newer formats such as continuous certification, simulations and observed clinical exams.

The company presents itself as a partner rather than a self-service tool. The home page line is "You dream up the solution. ITS will handle the rest," and it says that every year ITS develops "the latest innovations in secure internet testing" so test programs can give candidates a better experience. Every call to action leads to a demo or a conversation with the team.

Scale

The home page prints four figures about the business:

  • 26M tests delivered annually;
  • 50K hours of research and development annually;
  • 230 countries and territories globally;
  • 60 languages and dialects in total.

The ProctorNow page adds that the ITS test driver "is trusted to deliver millions of exams annually." The resources section also carries a press release headed "ITS to Power the NextGen Bar Exam with Proven Exam Delivery and Grading Technology," which shows the company working on exam delivery and grading for a bar exam.

Item authoring and banking

The authoring product is Item Workshop. On the home page, the item authoring and banking module lets an organization author, edit and review items, then build and publish tests from them, with "30+ unique item types" to choose from. Because review sits inside the same tool as authoring, an item can move from draft to checked to published without leaving the platform.

Test delivery and PracticeNow

ITS lists test delivery as a core offering. The home page says organizations can "reach candidates anywhere with our flexible test driver" and choose from "proctored, multi-modal, or unproctored delivery options." PracticeNow is listed among the core offerings next to Item Workshop, ProctorNow and Test Delivery.

The ProctorNow page explains why ITS builds its own driver: it says its trusted technology "reduces downtime, errors, and system failures that often happen when multiple third-party tools are forced to work together."

ProctorNow remote proctoring

ProctorNow is the remote proctoring product. The page says it "provides a secure, reliable, and flexible remote proctoring experience designed for low-to-mid-stakes test programs," and that it puts test integrity first by pairing AI technology with human oversight.

The model combines software and people. The AI "continuously scans for anomalies and a human proctor intervenes only when necessary." On top of that, "every single exam is reviewed by our ITS-employed proctoring team." The page argues this gives "high security without unnecessary interruptions for candidates," and that human proctors provide "oversight, judgment, and support that complement our AI's efficiencies."

The built-in security features are listed as:

  • AI-powered monitoring that detects anomalies such as multiple faces, unexpected sounds or suspicious behavior;
  • live check-ins, where candidates start their test with a human greeter;
  • two-camera support, adding a secondary camera and a different viewpoint;
  • 100% human-reviewed exams, with every session reviewed by ITS-employed reviewers;
  • a proprietary secure browser that blocks unauthorized applications and remote access tools.

The organization chooses from these to "implement the desired level of test security," so the same product can run lighter or stricter depending on the exam.

For the candidate, ProctorNow uses a "test anytime, anywhere model": candidates "test on their schedule, with no appointment necessary." The check-in is handled by a live greeter, and real-time text and voice support is available during readiness and testing. Candidates use only one app, and the page says there is "no need to navigate multiple logins, deal with conflicting interfaces, or troubleshoot tech compatibility issues." That single ITS-built platform is also presented as easier for administrators.

Other assessment formats

ITS covers formats that a plain quiz tool does not.

Continuous Certification. The home page calls it "our evidence-based longitudinal assessment solution" and pitches it as a way to modernize recertification. In place of one large exam every few years, a certifying body can assess its credential holders over time.

Performance-Based Testing. This delivers "an authentic experience that reflects the real-world environment," with options named as live-in-app, labs or simulations. It suits credentials where doing the task matters more than picking the right answer.

Observational. One observational assessment solution evaluates skills and behaviors and delivers OSCEs, oral certifying exams and admission interviews. OSCEs are clinical skills exams, so this module ties in with the healthcare market ITS names.

Secure Browsers. ITS offers a "user-friendly lock-down browser" to prevent access to non-authorized digital tools and to secure test content.

SparkAI. SparkAI is the AI layer. The home page says it helps organizations "create content, explore data insights, and strengthen test security." The blog topics on the home page, including AI avatar test items and the rise of AI cheating tools, show where ITS is applying it.

Privacy and compliance pages

The site footer links a Privacy Policy, a GDPR Statement and a CCPA Statement. An organization with privacy obligations toward its candidates can read those statements before a demo.

Pricing

The site publishes no prices. Sales run through "Book a demo," "Request a demo" and "Connect with our team."

Who it suits

ITS suits a certifying organization, licensing board, academic testing program or professional body that needs one vendor for the full exam program: item writing and review, test assembly, delivery, proctoring, and specialist formats such as OSCEs, simulations or longitudinal recertification. The remote proctoring is aimed, in the company's own words, at low-to-mid-stakes programs, and its no-appointment model fits candidates who need to test on their own schedule. The 230 countries and territories and 60 languages and dialects it reports point to programs with candidates spread across many markets.

It is not built for a course creator selling lessons, a teacher running classroom quizzes, or a small business that wants a self-service sign-up and a price list. There is no course builder or storefront on these pages: the product is the exam and everything around it.
