What BlinkExam is
BlinkExam is an online examination platform for institutes and corporates: a hosted system for creating exams, registering candidates, delivering tests, proctoring them and publishing results. The home page pitches it at coaching institutes, training organizations and HR and L&D teams, and says it takes an organization from sign-up to a live exam "without provisioning servers or an in-house IT team." The footer lists Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India as its location and describes BlinkExam as "A PTF Product". The site's structured data lists sales and support contact in English and Hindi.
It serves three audiences, each with its own track on the home page. Schools, colleges and universities use it for mid-terms, semester exams and finals, with auto-graded tests, admit cards, result management and regional language support. HR and L&D teams use it for skills tests, certifications and compliance training, with AI-proctored remote assessments and competency reports; the FAQ mentions campus drives, lateral hiring and certification tests. A third track covers high-stakes entrance exams and public-sector recruitment drives, with center-based computer-based testing, candidate allocation and hall tickets.
Building and scheduling exams
The question bank holds questions across subjects, difficulty levels and formats, and questions can be imported as well as written. The exam software page claims "26+ question types" and lists MCQ, short answer, long answer, cloze and numeric, date and time, case study, coding, audio and video, fill in the blanks, file upload, code response and video response. An administrator builds a paper from the bank and sets the duration, marks and negative marking. One testimonial on the home page describes building a first full exam with sections, timers and question pools in one afternoon without calling support, and the exam software page promises variations in paper format and "incessant question randomization."
The online test workflow on the home page runs in five steps. The administrator creates the exam, registers candidates by CSV upload or self-registration with approval, and issues admit cards that the system generates and emails with login credentials. Candidates then log in at the scheduled time while a real-time dashboard shows active sessions, and results are declared with instant auto-evaluation and rank generation, exported as PDF or Excel. Candidate management also covers batch registration, exam center allocation and attendance tracking. Candidates can sit exams on the iOS and Android app, which supports offline mode for low-connectivity areas.
Three delivery modes
The platform runs exams in three modes. The online test system covers creating, delivering and publishing results without invigilation, which the FAQ suggests for practice and low-stakes screening. AI proctoring is a toggle on any test, with configurable alert sensitivity and response rules, meant for hiring finals, certifications and other high-stakes sittings. Center-based testing maps exam centers across cities with seating capacity and invigilators, auto-allocates candidates to the nearest center and exports hall tickets in bulk. Center administrators manage attendance and incidents in an admin mobile app, the BlinkSecure browser locks candidate terminals, and an invigilator dashboard watches every seat.
BlinkSecure is used for remote exams too. According to the home page it locks candidates into full-screen mode and blocks copy-paste, screenshots and external applications during the exam.
AI and live proctoring
When AI proctoring is on, candidates first pass a camera and microphone check, then facial recognition and a photo ID check. The AI scans the room for prohibited objects, secondary screens and unauthorized people, and during the exam the proctoring page lists multiple-person detection, phone detection, audio alerts and browser tab switching, with timestamped evidence. A screenshot every 10 seconds is used for face verification and to track eye movements and posture. Whole sessions can be recorded with audio and video, and an event report gathers photos, videos and screenshots along with each question attempted, the order of attempts and any messages to the proctor. Each submission gets an integrity score that the site says informs result acceptance, and administrators review flagged events before deciding.
The proctoring page offers four methods: live monitoring of all candidates on one screen, video proctoring with recorded review, image tracking, and what it calls 360-degree proctoring of the whole exam space. A dedicated proctor option assigns each student "a proctor from our team of teachers", who sends a warning message on suspicious activity and a suspension message that ends the exam if the behavior continues. The system can also block students who repeatedly break the rules from further exams, and batches split large candidate groups into manageable sessions.
Security, results and support
The site leans hard on compliance. It states ISO 27001 certification for a formally audited information security management system, ISO 9001 certification, GDPR compliance with an EU hosting option, 256-bit AES encryption, hosting on Amazon Web Services, annual vulnerability and penetration testing, and a customized data processing agreement for every enterprise client.
Results arrive when an exam closes. The home page lists instant result declaration with percentile rankings, item-level analytics and downloadable PDF reports, and one testimonial mentions scorecards, subject-wise breakdowns and comparison reports. Grading claims differ a little by page: the home page promises "Auto-graded objective and subjective tests", while the exam software page says computerized grading is available "for supported objective question types."
Support is described as "24×7 Multi-Channel Support" with 24/7 onboarding help. The home page also points to an AI Proctoring API, and the exam software page directs teams that already have an exam flow to the proctoring product.
Trying it and pricing
The site publishes no prices. Its offer is "Free for 7 days. No credit card required.", with a personalized walkthrough from the solutions team and a live pilot exam on the buyer's own candidates. The footer promises "Up in 2 hours", and the proctoring FAQ says most pilots start within days after a short scoping call. A live demo is also available.
Who it suits
BlinkExam suits coaching institutes, colleges and training organizations that run frequent batch exams and mocks and want admit cards, results and rank lists without building their own exam infrastructure. It also suits HR teams running hiring tests and certifications that need reviewable proctoring evidence, and exam bodies running center-based entrance or recruitment tests, where center allocation, hall tickets and invigilator tools matter most. Regional language support across the interface, questions and answer evaluation helps when candidates do not all test in English.
The main caveat is that buyers learn the cost only through a demo or pilot, so the free week is the practical way to judge fit.
