What Cudoo is
Cudoo is an online course platform with two audiences. Individual learners buy courses from its catalog, which the home page describes as courses "in 160+ world languages & 1000+ soft skills". Organizations, training companies and resellers can license the same catalog inside their own branded platform through Cudoo's white label LMS. The home page calls Cudoo "an eLearning platform with a social mission, offering 1300+ language, and professional development courses", and the white label page puts the resale catalog at 800+ affordable online language and professional development courses.
Languages are the core. Popular courses include American Sign Language, English, French, Arabic, Russian, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, and the white label page names less common ones such as Abruzzese, Telugu and Latin. The contact details list a toll-free number staffed from 9.00 AM to 6:00 PM EST, an email address, and an office address in Katy, TX.
The language catalog
Language courses are, in the white label page's words, "uniquely mapped to internationally recognized CEFR framework and ACTFL levels", and the site has an explainer page titled "What is CEFR/ACTFL?". Content is developed by language and culture experts with over a decade of experience in corporate training, according to the same page. The catalog counts 160+ languages and dialects, which gives learners of smaller languages a real chance of finding a course. One home page reviewer, Pewe B., says exactly that: "My interest in Cudoo was a result of them teaching a number of Austronesian languages."
Lessons are delivered through short videos, engaging text and quizzes, and learners can study on a phone, laptop or tablet. The white label page says learners choose from 1000s of interactive lessons and that all courses are available 24/7 with unlimited access. Another reviewer, Ulrike D., writes: "I really enjoy listening to the audio and watching the colorful illustrations."
Bundles group related courses with a total in hours. The Arabic Dialects And MSA bundle combines Modern Standard Arabic with Egyptian, Lebanese and other dialects over 321 hours, and the Learn Sign Language bundle runs 75 hours from the alphabet and numbers through beginner to advanced, with baby sign language as a bonus. The white label page also mentions customized language courses for the retail and hospitality industry.
Beyond languages
The skills side of the catalog is organized into Accounting & Finance, Career Development, Entrepreneurship, Health & Safety, Health & Wellness, Human Resources, Management, Marketing, Psychology, Sales, Train the Trainer, Training & Development and Workplace Essentials, with Computer Skills among the popular courses. Two programs sit under a "Diploma Courses" heading: American Sign Language and TEFL Certification Online.
The TEFL course is the most credential-oriented item. Its card on the home page reads "Learn to teach a language", "Internationally accredited certification" and "Teaching practice and observation", with a length of 120 hours; the card does not name the accrediting body. The site's footer also displays a "CPD Accreditation" badge.
Other bundles show the range: Work From Home Successfully (100 hours), Setting Up Your Business Online (75 hours), Fresh Graduates Skills Hacker (46 hours), Pet Care Certification Course and Mindfulness & Wellness (38 hours each), Home Tutoring (32 hours), and the Health & Nutrition Hacker and Home Improvement Hacker bundles (25 hours each). The bundle cards list what each covers. Work From Home Successfully promises time management and communication strategies for remote work; Fresh Graduates Skills Hacker covers CV writing, interview skills, career strategy and basic accounting and sales; Setting Up Your Business Online runs from starting an online business to social media and HR and management skills; and Mindfulness & Wellness covers meditation, visualization, sleep and dealing with anxiety.
The white label LMS
For organizations, Cudoo offers its catalog inside a learning management system branded as their own. The pitch is that building a training solution from the ground up is costly and time-consuming, and the white label LMS can instead be embedded on the customer's website or intranet, or run as a stand-alone domain. The customer chooses the custom domain, login page and logo; the page claims you can create your brand's look and feel "in a matter of minutes".
Administrators work in a dashboard where they add users, build customized training paths, track progress and generate reports. Learners get a branded dashboard with the customer's logo, custom banners and welcome text, where they see their course library, track progress across all activities, and return to their last lesson or try something new. Every learner gets a personalized certificate for every course completed, carrying the customer's own images, logo and text. The login screen offers three roles, Organization, Instructor and Student.
The menu also has a "Become a Reseller" route for companies that want to resell Cudoo courses. Two client testimonials appear on the white label page. Mark Abi-Aad of Eton Institute says Cudoo let his company "successfully include online training that complements our instructor-led training", and Kumar M. of a recruitment company writes that "The wide option of courses was also a major deciding factor." Organizations request a demo through a form that asks for name, phone, email, organization name and requirements. The pages show no prices for the white label LMS.
Free-For-Life and the social mission
Cudoo links its sales to free access. "Every course that's purchased enables us to offer charities, nonprofits, and libraries free and unlimited access to our online courses through our Free-For-Life initiative," the home page says, and the courses are available to employees, volunteers and people dependent on these institutions worldwide. A nonprofit, charity or library can therefore get the catalog for its people at no cost.
The home page counters give a sense of activity: 10550 certificates issued, 30595 learning hours, 50460 courses sold and 188258 free courses donated. A list headed "Prestigious Institutions Trust Our Courses" names organizations including the University of Southern California, Duke University, McGill University, the University of Michigan, Clemson University, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, the Rhode Island School for the Deaf and the Missouri Department of Transportation.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
For learners, Cudoo suits people studying a language that mainstream apps skip, such as an Arabic dialect, Abruzzese or an Austronesian language, and people who want a structured, CEFR- and ACTFL-mapped course they can take at their own pace. The TEFL and sign language programs add options for someone heading toward language teaching or learning to sign.
For organizations, it suits training companies, staffing firms and schools that want to offer a broad language and soft-skills library under their own brand without building a platform, and nonprofits or libraries that qualify for Free-For-Life. Teams that want to write and host their own courses from scratch, rather than use Cudoo's catalog, will find the white label LMS is built around licensed content.
