What Teamlilit is

Teamlilit is a platform for running a tutoring business, built around its own live classroom. The FAQ describes it as "an all-in-one platform for independent tutors and small teaching businesses," bringing live video classes, scheduling and student self-booking, student records, lesson notes and wrap-ups, attendance and time tracking, and invoicing into one place. The homepage headline puts the idea plainly: "Run your tutoring business from one place, not seven apps."

The design choice that holds it together is that the lesson happens inside Teamlilit. Because the class runs in its own classroom, the platform already knows which student attended, for how long and what was covered, so the attendance record, the AI recap and the invoice can all be built from the lesson itself instead of typed in afterwards. It is sized, in the company's words, "for one tutor or a small academy," and names private one-to-one tutors, language tutors, exam and test prep tutors, and small tutoring centers with several tutors teaching group classes in parallel as its users.

The live classroom

The classroom runs in the browser, with "HD video and audio powered by LiveKit," screen sharing for slides, documents and exercises, an interactive whiteboard and in-session chat. A lesson starts with one click from the dashboard, with no meeting IDs or passcodes. Students can join from a single-use link by typing a name, with no account and no download; guests join as listeners, and to speak, share a camera, chat or draw, a student needs a free account and an invitation onto the stage, which they can create without leaving the room.

Group classes use a stage model. The tutor always has audio and video on and can invite "up to 3 students on stage at a time" to take part with camera and microphone, while everyone else watches and listens and students are swapped on and off as the lesson moves. The homepage pitches this as the answer to "unmute chaos with 30 students." A stage view puts the active speaker or presenting student front and center.

The whiteboard does more than most. A single lesson can hold several boards plus text pages and uploaded files as extra tabs. There is a math editor for equations, a chemistry tool for reaction equations and ring structures, a graphing tool that plots functions, and support for dropping images onto the canvas and embedding YouTube, Vimeo or Desmos. Boards save automatically and can be prepared before the lesson, which suits math, science and exam prep tutors in particular.

Booking, attendance and wrap-ups

Each tutor gets a personal booking page where students see open slots and book themselves, plus a question form for people who want to ask something first. The tutor sets the rules: notice required, the gap between lessons, a daily maximum, and cancellation and reschedule windows. Lessons can also be scheduled by the tutor, once or as a recurring weekly slot, and sessions sync one way to Google Calendar, updating there when a lesson moves or is canceled. Automatic email reminders go out before every session.

Attendance records itself. Teamlilit logs when each student joins and leaves the live room and shows the duration, who arrived late and by how many minutes, who left early and who never came. A tutor can still correct a line by hand. That same tracked time becomes the billable time.

After class, the wrap-up holds session notes and exercises, each with an optional file or link, and students receive everything by email. With AI switched on, Teamlilit transcribes the lesson from the audio it already has and drafts a summary, notes and suggested exercises, and the notes editor can rewrite or expand a passage on request. The tutor reviews and edits everything before students are emailed. The FAQ says "Every plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits," with top-ups available.

Programs, student records and invoicing

For structured teaching, a tutor can upload a JSON or CSV file listing topics, dates and session types, and Teamlilit generates the whole program of sessions; programs can also be built by hand. The homepage suggests this for exam prep, language courses or any structured teaching, and the FAQ mentions dedicated solutions for language teachers and IELTS or exam prep tutors, with levels, recurring schedules and group classes.

Each student has a record holding past sessions, notes, exercises, attendance and time. Parents can be sent a private, read-only link that shows their child's recent lessons with attendance and duration, plus the invoices addressed to them, with no account needed. A tutor can also e-mail a group of students or guardians at once, with each message sent individually.

Invoices are built from the lessons actually taught, at each student's own rate. The tutor picks a student and a period and the lines fill themselves. VAT can be added, a whole family or class can go on one invoice, a monthly draft can wait for approval, late fees can be applied and payments recorded as they arrive. Invoices go out as a PDF by email, and the FAQ is clear that "Teamlilit never handles the money itself": the tutor's own bank or payment details go on the invoice.

Trial, data and support

Every new tutor account starts with a "14-day free trial that includes the full Pro feature set," with no credit card needed, a reminder before it ends and the option to choose a plan, change it or cancel at any time. The live classroom is included in every plan rather than sold as an add-on. The homepage links to a pricing page, but the plan prices themselves are not printed on the homepage.

On data, the FAQ says "Teamlilit runs on European infrastructure and is fully GDPR compliant," that tutor and student data stays in the EU, and that a deleted account has a 30-day window before everything is permanently removed. Teamlilit can be installed to a home screen as an app that "Works on iOS, Android, and desktop browsers," with no app store needed. Support is by e-mail, and the site offers free tools for tutors such as an invoice maker, an earnings calculator, an hours tracker, timetable and lesson-notes templates and a progress report template.

Who Teamlilit suits

Teamlilit fits private tutors and small tutoring centers that teach live, online, one-to-one or in small groups, and that are tired of stitching together a video tool, a calendar, a chat app and spreadsheets for attendance and billing. Language tutors, exam prep tutors and math or science tutors get the most from the stage model, the specialist whiteboard and the programs-from-a-file feature. Parents get a simple read-only view of lessons and invoices.

It is built around the live lesson, so a creator selling self-paced video courses, or a large school that needs institutional administration, is shopping for a different product. For a tutor whose week is a timetable of live lessons that have to be taught, recorded and billed, Teamlilit covers the whole loop from booking to invoice in one subscription.
