Educate

Tap a star to rate

Educate is an online classroom app for tutors, coaching teachers and their students, run by Ensenar Technologies Private Limited. The homepage calls it "World's Online Classroom Platform specially designed for teachers and students," and the About section describes it as "the premier Online Classroom App for both teachers and students" in India, built for "the Indian education system." A teacher uses it to run live batches, set tests and assignments, share materials and collect fees; a student uses it to attend those classes and to find a tutor in the first place.

The homepage claims the app is trusted by institutions, educators and students "across 135 countries," with "10,00,000+ Happy Teachers & Students," "50 Lac+" live class minutes and "17,50,000+" quizzes and tests. The tutor page cites a 4.6 rating on the Play Store from "8,900+ reviews" and "5 Lakh+ downloads."

Running live classes

Live classes are the center of the product. The homepage promises "Conduct Unlimited Live Classes," and the tutor page describes "HD live video classes with screen share." The interactive whiteboard lets a teacher "Teach like on a real blackboard, with math symbols, diagrams, and PDFs," and the feature pages list quizzes, polls and live chat as engagement tools during a session. Classes can be recorded: the tutor page says "Record every class with unlimited storage," and a feature page explains that students can "review sessions whenever they need," whether to catch up on a missed class or revise.

Teachers organize students into batches. The About section lists "Batch Management: Organize classes with ease, replicating the offline experience online," and the homepage features a timetable for each classroom. The app is built for Android and iOS and also works on desktop and tablet, and the About section says it "is optimized for low-bandwidth situations," which matters for students joining on mobile data.

Tests, assignments and materials

Assessment tools cover the full cycle. Teachers can "Create Custom Test Series," generate quizzes quickly, write custom multiple-choice questions, and "Create tests (even from a photo with AI), share assignments, and grade in-app." The online classroom management page says the app makes it easy to "track submissions and provide feedback." A digital gradebook lets teachers record grades and share them with students and parents. Study material and other resources can be created, shared and kept in one place for students to open.

The classroom management page adds lesson planning, where teachers create lesson plans, attach resources and schedule lessons ahead of time, and behavior management, where teachers can "log behavioral issues, give rewards, and notify parents."

Attendance, communication and progress

Attendance is "as easy as a click": teachers "can mark students as present, absent, or late and even generate reports on attendance trends." Teachers can message students and parents directly, with in-app messaging and notifications, and the site lists one-on-one and group discussions for resolving doubts. Real-time analytics track student progress, attendance and engagement, and the homepage mentions AI-driven analytics among its teaching tools.

Fee collection

Fee management is built in, and it is one of the app's selling points for private tutors. The fees management page describes "The Fees Management Dashboard" where a teacher can "Track who has paid and who hasn't," "Send reminders to students about upcoming classroom payments or overdue fees," and "Set up personalized classroom fees for each student." Fees can be one-time or monthly, and the page says teachers can "Manage both online and offline classroom payments easily." Students pay "through UPI and cards, and the money is transferred to your bank account." The tutor page states that "Educate does not take a commission" on tuition fees.

The homepage also has a "Create And Sell Courses" section, listing easy course creation, flexible pricing options, secure payment processing, detailed analytics, and automated enrollment and access.

Finding students

Educate doubles as a place where students look for tutors. On the find-students page, students post their tuition requirement, "subject, class, board, medium, and budget," and teachers apply to matching requests. The page says "Hundreds of students post their tuition requirements on Educate every month" and counts "300+ new requests every month." Setting up a teacher profile takes about two minutes, applying is free, and a teacher can "take a free intro call to show how you teach." When a teacher applies, "the student sees your profile, experience, and a short note on why you are a good fit." Teachers can also receive intro-call requests directly.

The example requests on the page show what students offer to pay, from ₹1,500 to ₹4,000 a month for school subjects and exam preparation, and $40 to $60 a month on requests priced in dollars. The FAQ says the most requested subjects are school subjects for classes 1 to 12, spoken English and other languages, programming, and competitive exams such as IIT-JEE and NEET, and that teachers can "teach students from anywhere in India and abroad."

Courses and exams covered

The site's course and exam lists show the Indian school and exam focus: CBSE, ICSE, NCERT, JEE Main and JEE Advanced, NEET, CAT, IAS, GATE, banking and government exams, plus commerce, maths and science tutoring, languages and coding. The state board list runs from Maharashtra and Gujarat to Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal, and the classes list goes from kids' learning and Class 1 to Class 11 and 12.

Pricing

The pricing is simple. A feature page says "the Educate App offers a free plan with essential features. You can upgrade for additional benefits." The paid plan is "₹49 /month," which the find-students FAQ says "covers your full online classroom: live classes, interactive whiteboard, recordings, tests, assignments, chat, and fee collection." The same page calls it "The lowest-priced teaching app in India," with "every feature included," and the app is free to install. Another feature page advertises 24/7 support.

Who it suits

Educate suits a private tutor or a small coaching center in India that teaches batches live and wants one inexpensive app for classes, recordings, tests, attendance, parent updates and fees. The student-request feed makes it useful for a tutor who is still building a student base, since applying is free and the platform takes no commission on fees. Teachers preparing students for CBSE, JEE, NEET or similar exams will find the course lists and test tools aimed squarely at them.

It is designed around the Indian school system, UPI payments and rupee pricing, so a tutor outside India would be using a product shaped for a different market, even though the request feed does carry some posts from abroad. Larger institutions wanting their own branded portal would be looking for a different kind of product.
