What eduSeed is

eduSeed is an online school that teaches coding and math to children and teenagers in live classes with a tutor, either one-on-one or in small groups. It is a learner product: a parent books a course for a child and the child attends live sessions online. The company behind it is eduSeed Growth Pvt. Ltd., with a contact address in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, India, and its students come from India and abroad; the testimonials on the home page are signed from Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, New York and Doha.

The home page headline promises "Live Online Coding and Math Classes for Kids and Teens" and gives three figures: 50000+ hours of learning, 700+ students "on the Path to Success", and a 5/5 rating from parents. A comparison post on the company's own blog lists eduSeed for grades 1-12 in coding and grades 1-8 in math, with "Live interactive classes by qualified teachers" and "1:1 and Group Classes". Its mission statement reads: "Our mission is to cultivate a learning environment where seeds of knowledge are planted, nurtured, and allowed to flourish into brilliant minds."

The coding courses

The coding catalog runs from first-grade block coding to high school Java, with each course given a grade band, a session count, a project count and a length:

  • Scratch Junior (grades 1-2): 16 sessions, 25+ projects, 2 months. Children "Create animations, design games, and bring stories to life."
  • Scratch Programming (grades 2-5): 48 sessions, 60+ projects, 6 months, covering games and animations and an introduction to AI.
  • Artificial Intelligence (grades 4-7): 24 sessions, 30+ projects, 3 months. The course "Introduces kids to AI concepts like computer vision, face detection, speech recognition, and machine learning with hands-on projects."
  • App Development (grades 5-7): 64 sessions, 50+ projects, 6 months, using App Inventor to "Build mobile apps, explore AI, and create fun, interactive projects for real-world."
  • Python Programming (grades 6-12): 48 sessions, 60+ projects, 6 months, creating "graphics and games using Turtle and Pygame Zero Modules."
  • Python Mastery (grades 7-12): 48 sessions, 40+ projects, 6 months, covering "GUI design, desktop app development with Tkinter and web app creation using Flask."
  • Web Development (grades 7-12): 64 sessions, 60+ projects, 8 months, teaching HTML, CSS and JavaScript through interactive web pages and dynamic websites.
  • Java Programming (grades 9-12): 64 sessions, 50+ projects, 8 months, on Java fundamentals, object-oriented concepts and algorithmic thinking.

That sequence lets a child begin at six or seven with Scratch Junior and keep going for years: Scratch, then AI or app building around the middle grades, then Python, web development and Java in high school. Each course card lists its project count beside the session count, and the company's blog describes its coding lessons as project-based.

The math courses

Math is the other half of the school. The math catalog has four courses:

  • Math Program (grades 1-8): 30+ activities and 300+ worksheets, aimed at "a deep understanding of mathematical concepts".
  • Math Olympiad Coaching (grades 1-8): 20+ modules and 1000+ questions.
  • Math Kangaroo Preparation (grades 1-6): 20+ topics, with previous years' papers.
  • Math League Training (grades 3-6): speed practice and mock tests.

The company's blog post on online math classes lists the school curricula eduSeed covers: CBSE, ICSE, Cambridge IGCSE, International Baccalaureate (IB), Common Core (USA), Singapore Math and the Australian Math Curriculum. The same post describes "Personalized Tutoring with customized lesson plans" and says eduSeed is "Rated 5/5 on Google".

How the classes run

Every course is taught live. The home page lists three things the school stands on: "Experienced Instructors", "Expertly Crafted Courses" and an "Exceptional Student Community". Families can book a one-on-one tutor or a group class, and every course card carries a "Try a Free Class" button, alongside a "Book a Free Demo" offer on the home page. A Student Portal link sits in the site's quick links.

The testimonials give the clearest picture of a class. Akilan K Manikandan, a grade 6 student from Chennai, writes that the tutor "helped me pickup coding, starting from scratch language, all the way up to Python", and that "Though the classes are online, my tutor and I work on the programs together. I get help and guidance as necessary from my tutor." Yugan, in grade 6 in Bengaluru, says "I like the challenges that Mam gives. She also gives us quiz at times." Kaden Ahmed, in grade 8 in New York, writes that "I have learned a lot of things throughout Scratch, MIT App Inventor, and Python" and rates the classes 5/5. Tharunya, in grade 7 in Bengaluru, says App Inventor "was very useful in my academics as well." Ashwin Raj, a grade 4 student in Doha, says the tutor "is very friendly and has taught me all coding techniques in an easy way", and thanks eduSeed "for bringing out my coding skills in the CodeIt competition."

Results the school reports

The home page lists student achievements as evidence of what its students go on to do. In math, it names a perfect score of 96 in Math Kangaroo Pre-Ecolier, International Rank 1 in SOF IMO 2023-24 with a score of 60/60, All India Rank 11 in SOF IMO 2025-26, International Rank 6 in the NIMO Math Olympiad, and a bronze medal in Math Kangaroo (IKMC) in Qatar. In coding, it lists a win at the Inter-School Code/Clash Hackathon at Hauppauge, second place in Code Fest, a 24-hour hackathon by Oakridge, third place at the Long Island Code Conquest Hackathon, runner-up in the TechConnect 2.0 inter-school coding competition, and an AI project selected for the YUVAi top 50 among 50,000 contestants. Mabel Mercita, a grade 12 student from Coimbatore, credits the eduSeed Python course and tutor with the AI-based project that made that YUVAi top 50. These are individual results the school chooses to show, not averages across students.

Who it suits

eduSeed suits a family that wants a live tutor for coding, math or both, from the first years of primary school through high school, and that values being able to choose one-on-one teaching. The coding path covers block coding, AI, apps, Python, web development and Java in one place, and the math side adds competition preparation for Olympiads, Math Kangaroo and Math League. Families abroad following IB, IGCSE, Common Core, Singapore or Australian math can use it alongside school.

The site publishes no prices, so the free demo class is where a family learns what a course will cost and whether the tutor is the right fit. Course lengths of 2 to 8 months per course are worth weighing before committing, especially for the longer Web Development and Java tracks.
